Jaws Closed

I was at US today and went to ride JAWS. The attendant there said it was closed due to a mechanical problem until February 11th.

Wow, that's a long time! I wonder if the shark got loose or something?

Maybe they'll spruce it up a bit while it's closed.

Ha! The sign actually said there was suspected shark activity in the water but some people pressed the attendant so he mentioned something about "mechanical" to make them happy.

Doesn't it usually close around this time anyway for maintenance? That's probably what it is.

That's not a surprise. Universal wouldn't want to cause full fledged panic.

Obviously the Mayor finally took the Sheriff's advice and closed it all down until they can "deal" with the shark problem.
