January - February Value Season

Anyone know if any large groups - similar to Pop Warner - traditionally descend upon WDW at that time?

I Know That The First Week Of Jan. There Is A Camp. I Can't Remember For What Sport But It Brings Alot Of Kids

The first weekend in Feb I know there is a Dance competition and the 2nd there is a cheerleading competition

Jan 6 & 7th this year is the WDW Marathon, so my trip is planned for the 8th

And then there are the Pres Day crowds in Feb

I think that stuff is mainly on weekends, thankfully.

Not sure about this coming year, but in the past ,the cheerleaders and dance groups were there anywhere from the last week in january to the first two weeks in february. Although you are aware of their presense in the parks, there are not enough of them to impact the que lines. They may take up alot of resort space though,with famalies coming to watch. I know there are a number of teams that stay at the CBR. Booked in december and had no problems getting a room first week in February.
