January Exercise Challenge

Ok.. I had 220 minutes 1/15- 1/21

40 minutes yesterday and today.. 80

300 minutes for me please!

Here's my week #3 totals post.

I ended week #2 with 1020/2000 min as of 1/14. Here's what I ahve been doing since then.

1/15 - 15 min - walking
1/16 - 120 min - walking
1/17 - 75 min - walking
1/18 - 30 min - walking
1/19 - 90 min - walking
1/20 - 45 min - strength & flexibility exercises
1/21 - 90 min - bowling

That gives me 465 min for week #3, and a total so far of 1485/2000 min for Jan. I had a couple of low min days this week, so I'm just a little behind where I'd like to be at this point, but overall I'm in pretty good shape as far as meeting my goal for the month.

Put me down for 210 last week!! I am shooting for 300 this next week...I love this challenge!! :cool1:
 

You can add an additional 95 min. for me from last week. That should put me at 305/1000. It doesn't look as though I'll meet my challenge this month, but I will be working towards it again next month. I know I can get there. I might have made it had we not stayed in WDW another week after the marathon.

Everyone is doing well. I think keeping track helps us realize when we might need to pick it up. Good job and keep up the hard work.

I did go to gym last night. :) Tonight was busy with other errands and stuff. But tomorrow will hit the gym again. :) :cheer2: I can get back on schedule.

Here's my minutes for the past week:

January 22nd 0 minutes
January 23rd 0 minutes
January 24th 150 minutes
January 25th 60 minutes
January 26th 75 minutes
January 27th 120 minutes
January 28th 110 minutes

So far a total of 515 for week 4

460 + 400 + 515 + 515 = 1890 for the month so far with 110 to go. I should be able to get it on Monday.

I'm afraid I'm quite a ways from my goal so I likely won't make it unless I exercise like crazy and I don't wanna injure myself so I'll try for it next month. :)
 
I flunked - its been a cold, snowy January
I have however maintained my weight at goal - hoping for an early Spring
my bones are creaking - knees & hips especially

good going everyone - keep at it and if you have any extra energy please do some for me
 
I just got off of the TM for the week. So far my total for the month is 450/100. I will have some to add on Monday, but I know that I won't make my goal for January. I do expect to make it in February though. This has definitely helped keep me motivated to get back into my exercise routine. I have got to find something that I can do on the days when I don't get on the TM.

I have a week #4 update! I MADE GOAL! :cool1: :Pinkbounc

Here is what I've done this past week:

As of 1/21 I was at 1485/2000 min.

1/22 - 60 min - walking
1/23 - 35 min - bicycle
1/24 - 75 min - walking
1/25 - 200 min - walking
1/26 - 30 min - bicycle
1/27 - 90 min - walking
1/28 - 90 min - bowling

That's 580 min for the week & puts me at 2065/2000 min for Jan! I'm not done yet either! I'll post the last 3 days as a separate post when I'm done!

Congrats to all of you for getting moving in Jan, & a special congrats to those who have already reached goal! We are all winners! :cheer2: :banana:
 
I am reporting in on the last day of the month. I didn't meet my goal, but that isn't going to keep me from trying in February. My total for January looks like this 490/1000. I believe that 1000 min. in February is a reasonable goal for me. Thanks for the challenge in January. Keep up the great work everyone!
 
Ok, here is my last update for the month.............boy I barely squeeked by, even with the 1/2 marathon.

1/28- 50 minutes FIRM workout
1/29- 70 minutes 4 mile walk plus warm up and cool down
1/31-50 minutes - Training- short walk/run

Total for month 1030
