I'll be doing the 1000 minute exercise challenge for January. I don't think I'll make my 1000 minutes for December but I will get close. I look forward to being encouraged by everyone's minutes as we start off 2005!

I am. I'm back to shooting for my 1200 minutes a month. I'm not going to make it for December, going to Disney threw me off, but that's the great part of a New Year, you get to start all over.

I certainly am. I am hoping to do nearer 2000 though because I only have about 20 pounds that I would like to lose and then I will be a goal.

I'm in!!! The half marathon will be a good starting point. I am hoping to do a minimum of 1500 mins (and actually doing closer to 2000 mins).

I am committing to the 1000 minutes in January. I am also doing the 1/2 marathon and that will be a big help, so hopefully I will exceed the 1000. I have been really slack in the exercise department another reason why I'm not sure I'll make the entire 1/2, but I'm at least starting it. It will be a wonderful jump start to the New Year.

I want to also. What do I have to do to start. I power walk from the garage to my office (15min) each way. This would also force me back on my total gym. Tell me how to do this and I am in there with you all.

Also how do I get the "cheat free days" tag. I thought that would help me get all my points in. I have a terrible time doing that and thus the weight is a problem. I will take all the help I can. I am determined right now, but need help along the way.

I've never done this kind of challenge. It's 1,000 minutes of ANY exercise?? Is that right? This is the thing that has been missing. I've been ok with my eating (could be better, though), but the exercise needs to be added desperately.

i would love to know what the 1000minute challenge.. do you just add up all the minutes you do in exercise for the month? cause if i got it right count me in i am so in need of a helping hand to get some weight down!!
