January Exercise Challenge!

Just did one last quick update before the weekend. Updated through post #480.

Keep moving! :yay::yay::yay: (I know these are "yay" but since it's the exercise thread, let's pretend they are smilies doing jumping jacks.)

Just went through my Active link for the week:

1/22 1 mile run, 50 minute kick Boot
1/23 2 mile run
1/24 WATP DVD (30 minutes) am, 10 minutes elliptical, 1 hour Drums Alive/Zumba Toning pm
1/26 75 minute jog/walk (icy roads!)

1245/2013

Hoping to get a few heavy activity days in to make my goal. I normally get in a 25 minute walk at lunch - these temps under 20 didn't help this week!

15 min pt leg strengthening exercises and plyo.

735/800

Hoping to get a run in today but it will have to be on the treadmill bc it has yet to hit 15 degrees and there are several inches of snow still falling. :( Its pretty but being in Texas or Florida sounds tempting right now!

55 min run and I'm at 790/800.

I think I'm gonna revise (unofficially) and aim for 950. Otherwise I'll be too tempted to skip my workouts next week. I have planned 2 runs, 2 strength sessions or pt and one other cardio....

5 days to go for january... So who's hosting February!?

And while you are starting to think about your feb goals, remember its a short month (3 fewer days than January). Adjust accordingly. :)

After being sick for the last couple of weeks, I'm able to breathe and don't feel dizzy anymore. I did a 50 minute dvd to get me to a total of 390/600.

Catching up:
Thursday: Walk/run: 1 hour 40 minutes
Friday: Walk: 1 hour 39 minutes
Today: Walk/Run: 2 hours 24 minutes

Total: 343 minutes

Brings me to: 2933/3000

My totals are off though. This has been an insane time for us as we're in the middle of buying one house and selling another and starting a new semester.

Next month, I'm probably going to do a spreadsheet because it's obvious I can't add (says the person who teaches college math for a living).

Thanks to everyone for this thread. It really does keep me honest and gets me out the door at 3:40 or so most mornings when all I want to do is sleep.

Disney mom, I have all of your reported workouts in my spreadsheet if you want it for any reason. And don't worry about the math... I'm an accountant and if I didn't have that spreadsheet you'd all be howling at me for miscalculating your totals. 3:40 am??? That's insane! But good for you! I am impressed!

I am 1330/2013...=(

I will not be making my ambitious goal, but oh well!

Have a great week everyone!

Ran a 5K this morning so I'm up to 1051/1500!
