January BOG FP+...who wants to stalk with me?

Ok....I am hoping to go 1-3-14 and just got my magic bands today. I went to the web site earlier in this posting and when I am in it, it asks for Reservation ID. When I put the whole number in from the back of my mb, it comes back "Please ensure that the Reservation ID and names entered below match exactly with your Reservation details." What am I doing wrong???

I had this problem as well. Make sure you put your full name including middle names.
I'm trying to get 2nd feb but no times available at the mo

I understand that January dates haven't opened up yet, but I seem to be having a different issue. When I go to the beourguestlunch.disney.go.com link, it takes me to the Disney log-in. I log in, and a pop-up appears that states: "Thank you for participating . . . " I don't get to a spot that asks for resort confirmation number or dates. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have to have fast pass to have counter service lunch for BOG? I wasn't able to secure a dinner at all for BOG for our group of 5 when we go in late January and I do not want to miss out on eating at the castle.

You do not have to have FP+ for lunch counter service at BOG, but it lets you skip the line (and pre-order your food).

I'm pretty sure that January BOG FP+ is still not open. At least I've not seen any reports that it is.

Heads up on BOG FP. My SIL is in the world now and wasn't given a FP option for BOG until the day they arrived. On arrival day she was sent an email allowing FP for BOG. She had been trying daily before the trip with no luck.

I am stalking too! We want Jan 4 or 7 - I used my resort reservation number and it let me log in but when I click on either date it tells me that there is no reservation available and to choose another date, but none work.

We are really excited about getting reservations so I guess I will keep checking every hour or so!

Good to know , thanks, wonder if they may have changed their approach on giving this opportunity to guests. Will have to just keep checking and know that this is a possibility if unable to reserve any sooner.

You don't use your resort reservation ID. You use the ID on the page where you customize your MagicBands

Hmmmm. I was able to use my room reservation confirmation number. It is RO and had no letters. When it pulls me up it knows who I am.

Ok, I am very frustrated (like many of you) as our trip is coming up quickly (January 3) and I wanted the FP for BOG. I already have my mb's and FP's picked out but no BOG option...so I called and was told that you have to be notified by e-mail, and BOG as FP is only available to a random amount of people Maybe we will be lucky and be notified while there that we are eligible? If not I guess we will be standing in line at 10:30

We're going Jan 5-11 too. How long do you really think the lunch line will be during this time? It's a slower time crowd wise so I'm kind of guessing (hoping) the wait won't be too terribly long. Am I way off?

I was there last year around the end of your stay, when it was still brand new and waited about a half hour probably around 11:30. In May, with bigger crowds overall, wait was about the same after 1pm. Even when the line is long (almost to Gastons), it moves pretty quickly.
