January BOG FP+...who wants to stalk with me?

Ok, I am very frustrated (like many of you) as our trip is coming up quickly (January 3) and I wanted the FP for BOG. I already have my mb's and FP's picked out but no BOG option...so I called and was told that you have to be notified by e-mail, and BOG as FP is only available to a random amount of people Maybe we will be lucky and be notified while there that we are eligible? If not I guess we will be standing in line at 10:30

BOG FP+ has supposedly been a test only for those selected guests who receive an e-mail invitation since last summer. Someone posted the link to the BOG FP+ back in August (I think) and tons of DISers have been using the link the last few months with very few problems.

Its more likely that your issue is just that January dates are not available. If you are able to log into the special link, you should be able to book when/if January opens up.

good luck, we used the FP+ in October and the meal was really good, I had the braised pork.

Heads up on BOG FP. My SIL is in the world now and wasn't given a FP option for BOG until the day they arrived. On arrival day she was sent an email allowing FP for BOG. She had been trying daily before the trip with no luck.

Hope this doesn't end up being the way the lunch BOG FP+ is handled....really don't want to have to be awake at midnight just to make a lunch ADR. Waiting for Jan to open to claim a Jan 3rd lunch.

I was getting confused!! DINNER has opened up more time slots on MDE.. Lunch fastpass dates have not been released yet for Jan!!

I have seriously gotten a different answer from every DVC rep I have talked to about BOG fast pass+. The first guy told me it was by invitation only and was in a testing stage. The next person said I had to go to my resort concierge desk when I get there and the last person told me that I "may" get an invite but if not to go to the concierge at my resort. She also said that I could get an invite as late as 1 week before our arrival. I asked her why it "looks" like it is bookable on line if it really isn't and she didn't have an answer. I too, check every day.

Dinner did open up for all of our dates. Most times are after 8:30PM. Don't care, I'd eat there at midnight. The dinner is amazing!

I was able to make FP+ for Dec 31 today, with plenty of time options. Used my all # res number. Jan just isn't available yet, but I'm watching and hoping to switch it to Jan 4.

Still nothing this evening. It looks like it will allow me to make a FP+ reservation up until Dec 21. I haven't actually followed through with trying to make one, but it looks like I have the option. Our trip is Jan 20-25.

I called the dining line last night and they passed me over to the fastpass+ and magicband line who then passed me back to dining.
I wanted to know when I would be able to get a fp+ lunch for BOG. Basically, I was told what y'all have been saying - invitation only and that they are only in the testing phase.
The third person I spoke with also told me to ask guest services at my resort to help me make the fp+ for lunch either by phone or in person when I get there. She seemed to think that the resorts send out the invites. Could that be the case?
I am still waiting for Jan. 3-8 dates.

December dates opened up towards the end November. Just keep checking everyday like the rest of us LOL.

I read on another thread here on Disboards that BOG Fastpass+ for the entire month of December opened up on Nov. 13th.

If that were the measure, January -- all of it -- would be open already.

So it seems January's not scheduled as December was. Or something else is afoot.

It's still just a test. They could open the month of January tomorrow, next week or never.

I have 3 clients now that have received the email invitation for BOG FP+ on arrival day. All of them got the day they wanted but were not able to book sooner than that. Again the email was received in the morning of their check in day.
