**** DISMEETS UPDATE *****

It is all set for:

date: day of embarkation day.
Where: Promennade Lounge.

Promenade Lounge is a 104-seat lounge located on Deck 3, Aft situated off the elevator lobby on the Disney Magic. Open from approximately noon to midnight daily, Promenade Lounge is the perfect place for families to enjoy a refreshing beverage or snack, surf the Internet or partake in fun activities that occur throughout the day.

TIME:

The overall opinion is to have a rolling" DISmeets; meaning say around 2:3opm ish until about 3;30pm - this way, people can come and go and not feel pinned in to a specific time (like 3-3:30pm). And yes, I feel the "Adventures Away" party kicks in at 4:30pm (right after the boat drill).


ALSO - to those who would like to engage in a little bit of Disney pin trading during this time, feel free to bring a few pins as this is also a wonderful way to inneract with your fellow DISser.

FYI - there is a time change for us when we arrive into Cozumel & Grand Cayman
Cozmel = (forward 1 hour) and Grand Cayman = (back 1 hour).

Well we disembarked around 9-ish, got our rental and set off for Tampa airport. Flight delayed until at least 8h30 (aaargh) so we are bored at the airport. But my daughter is already downloading her pics on to her FB and we are already dreaming of our next DCL cruise - booked 4 more while on board!!!!!

Everyone get home safely and send us your pics and uploads when you have a moment to do so.......

Welcome back guys. Hope your vacation bliss hasn't worn off yet. I came here hoping there would be some post cruise chit-chat and I could see if you made your CC port call (I'm trying to keep track of all of them this year), but you guys are so quiet.

I'm guessing there might be more chatter here if you missed your day at Castaway Cay but don't want to assume. Could someone let me know and how was the weather?

We made our CC day without a hitch!

Overcast when we got there and the crew told us to get ashore and enjoy, cause you never know if it will turn to rain.

Well it cleared up and we had a bright sunny 80's day.

The water was cool but not cold - once in you got used to it quick. Even my DW went in and if it was cold she WOULD NOT!
