We live in Virginia, outside of Richmond. We are driving down with my parents and in-laws the day before the cruise. We are so excited--it will be here before we know it!! . Excited about the FE group, too--thanks for organizing it!

Hi All, this will also be our 1st cruise! A Christmas morning surprise here too, for our daughters (ages 12 and 10) after opening many presents with mysterious cruise related gifts or clues for a scavenger hunt that reveals we're leaving for a Disney Cruise next week! Well we are all booked!!! Airfare, hotel, and cruise. We are now debating if we want to do the Disney Dining Plan or not (quick service). Has anyone used it recently? We used it way back when they included an app and gratuity but that appears to be no more Hope everyone is doing well, We (meaning Milwaukee) just got done celebrating the Harley Davidson anniversary so it was quite busy. Thank goodness everyone has gone home and the roads are alot quieter

This will be my families first time on a cruise. We have 3 children makayla 12 hailey will be 8 and Connor 5. We are surprising the kids for Christmas I am so excited it is hard not to tell them. Being our first time any advise would be great. How do the fish extenders work I was reading about them on pintrest. Any advice would be great.

101 days from today the cruise leaves we haven't decided if we are flying or driving my husband has never even been to Florida so he really wants to leave a few days early and take our time driving down and stopping g along the way. We would like to stay at port canaveral the day before and evening does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay?

wow... found the thread... I'm not computer savy either and a senior to boot.... now what are these fish extenders and how do they work.... we will have two grandchildren with us (and their parents)...we have adjoining rooms balconys......3 yr girl and 7 yr boy........we are not flying as we winter in Florida....this will be number 5 of our cruises this winter..... we board Celebrity Reflection on Oct 11 to do two Med cruises and then the Trans Atlantic.... then Celebrity Constellation Caribbean cruise on Dec 9 and this one on Jan 5.... we like cruising.... but want to do it up right for our grandchildren...

Hi, I don't know if you have any kids (especially boys) but one year we went to Tampa Bay and took a tour of the stadium (football). It was inexpensive and the boys really loved being able to toss a ball on THE field. Also they got to go in the pirate ship. My boys loved it and on the way back to Orlando we picked up the most delicious oranges I ever had! We have never stayed near the Port but I know there are numerous threads if you do a search!!

Hi Jean, Glad you found us~~ I would love to know how you like Celebrity in comparison to Disney. We haven't cruised a different line but are entertaining the idea! What ports are you hitting on the Constellation?

We have decided to stay at Ron Jon resort it's a mile from the port and looks like a lot of fun for the kids for the day and night before.. Also 93 days left!! Getting excited!

I read a trip report that included a stay at the Ron Jon and it looked like a blast!!! Weather here has been rainy and icky,,,, good day for working on FE stuff and dreaming of better weather in January!!! How many days????

Was wondering from others who have been on a Disney cruise how does everyone dress for dinner? Since there is a theme each night I know one night is a pirate night so I am getting Mickey pirate shirts made but wasn't sure if people do that for each themed night.
