Shoot, I didn't even check the mailbox yesterday. Now I have a reason to get out of bed. Taking the dogs for a walk before church evidentally wasn't a good enough reason since I've been sitting here playing on my phone for over an hour!

I got mine too! Cruise booklet and ME tags! The MDE website said I have til tomorrow to personalize our magic bands, so those should be arriving in the next week or so too! We leave 1 month from tomorrow!!!

We sailed for the first time on the Dream in January 2013 and the boat was still decorated! Can't wait to set sail ! Is it too late to join the FE gift exchange?

Welcome!!!! We had cut off the FE at December 1st, but I am sure (at least for myself) that you can be added. Why don't you put your names on the list, leaving one line between yourself and the rest of the list and know that Ready to go and Ready to go 2 will include you. Maybe others will chime in on whether they will be able to include you. We have a wonderful group going on this cruise....

I will be celebrating my 43rd birthday (Dec) and my daughter's soon to be 14th birthday (Feb)! I will update my info on your spread sheet! I'm super excited because traveling on Disney cruise ship is the best way for my daughters to meet all their favorite Disney Princesses all at once! We had a magical time on the first one! My daughters ask me often, especially my 7 year old twins who often ask me the same question every month since returning from our first trip, "Mommy, can we please go back on the Disney Cruise?...we promise to be good all year!...Please Mommy?" I quickly reply, "Maybe one day...maybe we can write a letter to Santa and ask him?"

Thank you so much for including us too! I am so excited to start my Disney vacation! I can't wait until my DH and I tell the kids on Christmas morning! Please wish us luck! Last Christmas we had breakfast at the Grand Floridian with Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Alice of Wonderland, Mary Poppins and Bert! As all the Disney characters were surrounding the girls, Mary Poppins, along with Bert, helped us by talking about their great travels together...Mary Poppins told the girls how she loved to travel by car, train, and bus....then she said oh when I travel I must take my coat ...have you ever been on a boat?...Bert chimed in and said to Mary Poppins...did you say something about a goat or boat? she replied in her lovely jolly British voice and replied in laughter...oh Bert, I said boat...then I chimed in saying, "We love to travel on a boat too! Surprise, we are going on the Disney Cruise!" ...All the staff and other fellow Disney fans watched while eagerly anticipating the expected tears and screams of joy from my girls (dressed up in Cinderella dresses) but instead the girls just stared back at Mary Poppins, Bert, DH, and I with blank facial expressions. Mary Poppins hugged each of my daughters, then she turned to me and said, "Sounds like someone can use another spoonful of sugar!" DH and I laughed and said to the girls, "We really are going on the Disney boat! " They stood in disbelief, then finally after the initial 5 minute delay, they realized that they were going on the Disney boat! Lol! So, we are open to suggestions on how to tell them for a second time and maybe we need a magic wand! DD twins ages 7, and DD 13.

What a great story....sorry no ideas. I know that the first time we went to Disney World my sons were 6 and 3, and although we didn't normally do St. Nicks, since we were going to be in Disney for Christmas we put something in their stockings indicating so. I wish I would have filmed my six year old!!! What a great trip (although it was so cold that year we could have wore our winter jackets). This year we made our kids very aware of our trip (now 20 and 17) simply because they needed to know they were not getting their usual amount of Christmas gifts Isn't there an age limit when kids stop getting gifts???

Hi Jean....Hope you had good trips!!!! Why don't you put your info on the spread sheet (in my sig) under Latricia's info. That way if people are able to include you they will pipe up. Hello Fellow Dreamers,
My Name is Megan and my family and I are booked on the upcoming Jan. 5th 2014, 4 Day Cruise on Dream.
With me are:

Myself- 36
Husband- 36 (celebrating his birthday on this cruise)
Oldest Son- 10
Middle Son- 7
Youngest Son - 5

As well as my sister, her two kids (her oldest will not be able to come due to qualifying for the Jr. Olympics!) and her husband. And our mom!

I went on a Disney cruise with my parents when I was 14, and it was Called The Big Red Boat then! So it has been a while! But this is the first trip ever for my kids and husband. Also, this is a surprise trip for my boys to be given to them as a Christmas Gift. Thy know it is our goal to one day go on the Disney Dream, just not when. So they should be pretty surprised.

Right now I am trying to put together a few cute door magnets. For fun and to better able to find our door! And a few t-shirts for the boys to present to them on Christmas Day as part of the Disney package.

Welcome Megan. Are you making your own t-shirts? I saw this really cute idea which used bleach and wax paper to make somewhat tied died shirts. I was going to make them for my family but my boys, 17, 21 and 49 said "no way." Oh well....Welcome again!!!

Disney Grandma Jean here again........ sorry I didn't reply right away..... we are presently on Celebrity Constellation and just went online this morning. Internet at sea is somewhat slow and now I need to find the cabin number but I will add the kids names and put the cabin number on as soon as I find it. Thanks again

I just pulled up the FE spreadsheet to print off a copy, and somehow my oldest daughter was changed to Mickey Mouse on the spreadsheet!

I got a new toy for Christmas and bought some supplies today to make a gift for the girls. I guess they get to be my guinea pigs for my first project!

If all goes well, I will eventually be selling items to make money for more Disney trips!

Ready to Go and Ready to Go 2 ..... thank you for including my grandchildren in the fish extender........now.....I need some help...... do we give gifts to all persons on the spread sheet..... eg the Mommas and the Poppas..... not a problem to do it but don't want to do anything I shouldn't do. I was able to order a fish extender thingy from Gradysmommy in etsy.com.... hope I can say that here..... she seems to do great work and agreed to send me one that she had partially completed. What a sweet person. I need to get out and get the gifts this week so please help to set me straight.

Our son and daughter in law don't know that we are doing this.... we are in the adjoining room and we know that they and the kids will be so thrilled to see some gifts in their extender. You folks are very kind and thank you once again. We will buy gifts for everyone on the spread sheet.. some ideas would be good. ???????????????? Our cruise on Constellation was not the best, I was not feeling the best... something I ate I guess. cheers.

Our family, (son, daughter in law, and two grandkids) Grandpa and I are also staying at POP Century before the cruise.... arriving on Dec 31..... Jan 1 is probably the busiest day in the year at Disney. We were there last year as well on New Years but Disney at Christmas is so pretty. We will be driving to Disney from Fort Myers Fl where we spend the winter.

Someone asked about Celebrity Cruises and they are the best but with little kids, you must do Disney.....the food is excellent on Celebrity. (my opinion)...we did 38 days on Celebrity in Europe in Oct/Nov 12.

Hi Jean, You can either do stateroom gifts (that is one per stateroom) or you can individually give to each person. The choice is yours. Sorry it took so long to get back to you, we had to put down both our dogs last week so my heart hasn't been thinking about vacation We will be arriving at the Pop on January 1st, but we are just going to downtown Disney that day vs. the parks. My husband and I will be doing a land/sea to Alaska with friends in 2015 with Princess. I also want to try Royal Carribean in the future as I don't see our kids doing too much vacationing with us in the future (they are 17 and 20) Merry Christmas to all if I don't get on here before. Tomorrow we will be sending our box to the Port!!!

I'm looking forward to working on FE gifts this weekend. Hoping to get them all finished up and get caught up on laundry so I can start packing!

We are leaving on Jan 2, staying 3 nights at OKW.
