Anybody book more 2014 cruises after this one? I've for nothing this year but three next year: this one, the 2 night to nowhere, and Alaska.

I've seen reference to this 'cruise to nowhere' before.....which cruise is it? When? From what port? Confused!

RT on of San Diego leaving 5/17/14 on the Wonder.

Hi all! Looking at the cruises at the moment. All are Fantasy Western Carribean cruises out of Port Canaveral. Its this one, end of Sept 2013 or beginning of Nov 2013. Not sure which one we will decide. It all depends on when we purchase our house (will be looking as of this month!).

Looking to find other DD's that are similar in age with ours. She is an only child and will be 5 at the time of sailing. I'm hoping we can connect with others with a daughter her age.

This is our first disney cruise. Have been on royal carribean and norwegian a few times. Although I know everything about WDW vacations, I know nothing about DCL vacations. I am so excited to go on one!

We are from Connecticut. Thinking of maybe sleeping over one night at the parks and going to MK for a day before our trip. It's hard to think we will be so close to the parks and not visit even for just a bit. Anyone else thinking of doing sort of a land and sea package?

Excited to meet everyone! Once we decide which cruise, I'd love to do the FE exchange. I know nothing about it so if anyone wants to fill me in on the details, that would be so helpful! And when is the latest I can sign my daughter up for it?

Hello,

I believe a majority of us are planning on visiting the parks in some capacity either before or after the cruise.

I believe the FE group will close at the end of November, giving everyone enough time to create their gift. It is for people of all ages, so u will sign up as a cabin and the exchange will take place, some gifts might be for your daughter, others might be for you ;-)

We are traveling with friends that we met two cruises ago...this will be cruise number three together. Mom/Dads each have verandas, the young adults/teens have four inside staterooms. At this time, we are planning for 16-18 of us for dinner...this is going to be so much fun!:cool1:

Please add us to the FE list...Dave, Missy, Cait and Lauren Denning. I will have to get back to the group with our stateroom information. Our cabin from the Jan. '13 Eastern is all I can remember now and that wouldn't be helpful...lol!

We participated in the FE on the Jan. '13 sailing and it was a lot of fun. I was pretty stressed as our group became larger and larger...thankfully, we split and I had 20-21 cabins to deliver to. Those that wanted to be on both lists, had the choice to do so. For me, 20 was plenty...it was just right. :)

I love the facebook group and just requested to be added...I see some familiar faces from the last cruise! This is going to be tough to wait for but thankfully, we have a few trips planned between now and then though nothing really can beat a Disney cruise!

Hi there, this is our sixth Disney Cruise, second with knowing about the FE. I'm sailing with my 3 kids Lauren 19, Mackenzie 16, and Owen 13. We are definitely interested in doing the FE again! :cool1:
Looking forward to meeting everyone!

This holiday season has me really excited about it! Really hoping to stay at WDW for a few nights before. Who is going to WDW before the cruise? Where are you staying?
We will be staying at the Animal Kingdom Villas From Monday Dec 30, until check out and cruise morning Jan 4th.

We are going to be in WDW to celebrate my son's 11th BDay. My parents are joining us as well. Then we check out of the AKV to board the Fantasy for our first cruise. My son knows we are going to the parks to celebrate but we have told him the cruise is just too much this year. My parents are joining us in WDW as well as DCL to celebrate. We will be in adjoining rooms on deck 6 verandahs. We are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited. Hope to meet up with some of the lovely people who post here!

Getting excited for this cruise! Can't believe it will be so long for me between cruises! Last one was Oct 2012. I've been reading a thread about touring ruins with kids and the ones that we can book in Costa Maya seem ok! Going to book that. Another thread talked about how beautiful the beaches are in Cozumel. Definitely going to one. I'm going to book both through Disney. I hope to get a cabana on CC so l that's left to plan is Grand Cayman. I read that the seas have been rough during the winter months making tendering impossible. I hope that doesn't happen but I'm booking a DCL tour just in case. I don't know what to do there though. Don't think I want to visit the turtle farm. :(. Poor turtles.

My flight dates won't be released until 6 months out (I called Virgin today) so I'm still waiting on that. I got a companion ticket and have enough miles to book one round trip. Yay!

Wow! That's nice that you guys can coordinate all of that. Sounds fun!

luv2 you have so much planned already! I really haven't given much thought to what excursion we would like to do. I have done 3 Westerns in the winter and have not had a rough day in GC. maybe I have been lucky!

It is 14 degrees right now - unbelievable!!

What have you looked at for Grand Cayman?

Grand cayman seems to be the hardest one for me to plan as well! We might do a sea doo tour (probably wont though) we found one with great reviews (cant think of the name right now) or just walk around town and then head back to the quiet ship early and enjoy a relaxing day in the rainforest room or near the pool. Other than that I think we have decided to do mr. Sanchos in Cozumel and I wanted to see the ruins in costa maya, but I don't think I'll have enough time to go with an independent company, we aren't at that port for very long, I wanted to book with native choice who says their tours are four hours... I wouldn't want to risk it. Maybe I'll book it through Disney.

Looking at these port times now I am so glad that we moved our dining to late seating!

I also have most of my FE gift made and my door decorations are near completion!!!!! Lol I love my door decorations I'll have to put a pic up when I have a chance :-) I made them all with my cricut.

Maybe just a beach break then. My son pretty much just wants to play in the water.

We look at probably some beach break at Grand Cayman, most likely not much or nothing at Costa Maya and possibly Xplor when we're in Cozumel ...
In the meantime, we decided that 290 days to wait was far too long so we booked ourselves on a 4 nights cruise on the Magic on the Mediterranean ... At least it's only 140 days to wait for this one ! :cool1:
