I have a canon powershot camera and purchased the case that the company makes for it. It works great and I have not had a problem with it at all. When I replaced my camera I had to get a new case and did not think twice about doing it again. When I figured how much I spent in disposable cameras with the hassle of getting them through security without wiping them out and having enough space for all the pics I wanted to take, I found it was just as cost effective. I usually wind up taking about 100 to 150 pictures when snorkeling that way I am sure something will turn out well and those fish never hold still. The key to them is making sure you have a tight seal, use the grease that comes with it to lubricate the gasket ring and make sure you do not get sand in the seal when loading your camera in the case. That grit is what causes the leaks. Once you have the case sealed up it is good and I find that I can use it on the beach as well and not worry about getting sand in my camera and messing it up that way. I bought it on the internet since there were no places in Des Moines that carried them. (imagine that, underwater camera cases are not popular in Iowa, go figure. LOL) I first looked at a case in a camera shop in St Thomas and if I had been smart I would have bought it there, they had a very good price and showed me how to use it.
