I'll most likely have everything ready by Thursday afternoon so I can just get up on Friday without running around. Should only take me maybe an hour and a half...maybe a bit longer to get to your house. There should be no reason I can't come early enough for lunch.

I just got our flight info online. We depart out of IAD (Dulles) at 8:35am and arrive at MCO at 10:46am. On the return trip we depart at 1:52pm out of MCO and arrive at IAD at 4:01pm. They booked us on United (Ted). Looks good. Can't wait!

Now that we're all getting our flight info (those of us who are flying), it seems even closer!! There was a flyer in today's paper advertising Disney Vacations. DD cut out a bunch of the pictures and Cruise logos and we're going to make a countdown calendar. Something to do to make the time go by even quicker...

From looking at the description page, it appears to be a collection of the tips people have sent in. There is probably little or nothing there that you could not read on the DIS (or the PassPorter boards as well), but at that price it is cheap enough for anyone to buy to have all the tips in one convenient document. Of course, it is more than 90 pages so I doubt anyone would print it!

I pray that United is good for you all............my DH HATES United. It seems as if my DH's name name brings up red flags and flashes leave passenger behind or make passenger miss connection and they leave him stranded somewhere. He prefers Delta and that is what we are flying so it was a good thing for us. Otherwise who knows where we would end up

You just have to check it regularly because sometimes we get notified and sometimes not. You do not need to resubscribe. It's an intermittent problem with the boards.

This is probably old news to some, but I'm getting caught up on my Disney podcasts today ... heard on one that the first night's stay at the new Cinderella's castle room will be awarded in late January.

I'm *not* going to win it of course, but how cool would that be?? That would be the cat's pajamas.

I know there are some others here that are getting in a few days at the parks and resorts before the cruise. Maybe it could be one of us!

Yes, convience was defintely my motivation. Having it all in one place made it very easy to pick out the tips I liked and easily condense them down to about seven pages. Also, much easier to print that way.

Knock on wood. So far I have had good luck with United. Although this is the first time I am flying with United by Ted, which is a wholly-owned subsididary of United. IAD appears to be a major hub for United, which is probably why I always end up flying United. Let's hope my luck holds!

It's been a hit-or-miss thing with me. Sometimes I get them right away, sometimes days later, and sometimes not all. I didn't get the last few ones at all.

Now the reality of getting dogs taken care of, rides to the airport arranged, deciding what we really need to take is setting in. We let our kids know on Christmas about the trip and the excitement level at the house is incredible. Now I get to sit back and watch my teenagers pour through all the planning stuff. It is great to be able to talk freely about the vacation with the whole family and to finally have the kids imput. We can't wait

Did you have Mickey call and they found out then? Our kids knew about the trip but still thought that Mickey phoning them was awsome!
