Exactly today my parents went to court and are now officially divorced.

I feel torn.

It will be 10 years this August.

My parents got divorced when I was 2, so I don't really remember it but I definitely remember all the aftershock from it.

My parents have been divorced since August 1996. I remember how much it hurt at first but I understand why my mom had to do it.

It will get better with time.
