Hello from Chicago. Myself, my husband and our two children ages 5 and 4 will be going. We have known about our cruise since we booked on board during our last (first) cruise. We had booked our cruise for Feb 2009 while onboard and then had to change due to a work conflict that came up. Regardless, we are thrilled to be sailing although we are hoping for a record warm in Florida this January...(we will be at WDW for the preceding 4 days)...

We just returned from WDW and picket up our mail and were pleasantly surprise to see our nametags arrived. Thanks Ramon, they look great. I have to admit the best part was when the envelope scared my DF more than Everest or Dinosaur and those two 8x10's are sitting on the mantle above my fireplace. I spend 5 minutes everyday staring at them and laughing!

Great to hear you got the tags and good to hear you had fun at the world.

I have to say I survived black friday. We got some good deals, but met several Rude ladies along the way. One lady even grabbed this guy's watch and broke it trying to get something out of his hands.

I believe Santa is ready to visit us, now if he'd only bring the cruise a bit closer.

WOW! This was my first Black Friday shopping at Wal Mart... Never again!!! That was crazy... I did have some success at other stores, though!

I survived Black Friday and got all the deals I wanted plus some!!
Now just need to finish the wish list for the kiddos and I'm ahead of the game I think! I'm sure I"ll be doing that last minute shopping for the fun of it! Especially for things on the cruise!

Melsherard. I did the walmart thing too we were luckily in the "right" line to the door as the other had serious trouble!! A baby got hurt in her stroller and the employee there was robbed before hand somehow? We were close to the door but not close enough that by the time we got to the door the crazies were inside already! But we got everything we wanted luckily.. the one thing had only 2 left but I got it!

Has anyone gotten their cabin number yet that has also done the guarenteed room?

I check online every day for my room number... nothing yet! I'm dying to know!!! Oh well... I will post here as soon as I find out!

Did anyone pay the fuel surcharge on your reservation? Looks like DCL is no longer charging this surcharge and you will most likely be given an OBC for the amount you paid! DCL seems to be working out the exact details, but it sounds promising...

We also survived the holiday & black friday rush - did shopping online that day - still got quite a bit to go though...

Hope you guys get hit by the upgrade fairy!

We got our stateroom # today!!! #6550.... no upgrade fairy for us, but at least we know where we will be... I check every day... I wasn't expecting to see it there, so I about fell out of my chair when I saw it!
