When I went to check my dates there was nothing aavailable with the discount. Rooms available as a package or room only, but nothing with a discount

I just checked my email, thinking I missed it- but nope. I still can’t afford Riviera anyway, even with the 40% discount, so it doesn’t really matter. But still.......... I really want the chance for a discount!

Sorry, dumb question....,now that I have my Disney Visa card (it arrived yesterday), how or what do I have to do when the discounts come out that are specifically for Visa card holders to get the discount ?

I just got the card, but I assume that once you get to the pay deposit screen, you have to enter your Disney card number, else it wont take.

No problem really...just use your Disney Visa to pay the deposit when prompted for payment....at least that it what I have done with my Disney Debit card and it worked just fine!!

The gamut of emotions/ideas that I've had in the past two weeks regarding if/when/how much is crazy. We're booked at CBR for Marathon Week (our first RunDisney events!), and was initially hoping a GOOD discount on BC or BWI would draw us there. Then I was tempted by the Visa offer on Riviera - but honestly, the price jump for a similar location (on the Skyliner) didn't make sense for our family.

But now, I've done the math again and am hoping for a SPD deal - though some room only discount will be more than welcome instead. Given all of this, however, I've made peace with potentially just paying rack rate at CBR.

So long story short . . . here's hoping for something soon to put all of our minds at ease.

You will have to re-book using your Disney Visa for the deposit. Then, you can use any card you want to pay off the rest.

Actually, if you get a cast member with a clue, you do not have to cancel the reservation. You can just add another $200 on that Disney Visa as an extra "deposit".....
