They sacrifice revenue when they dont fill rooms. Anything they lose on a room discount they will make up 3 fold with the people filling those rooms spending in the park and at the resorts.

That’s what I said in my original post, they‘ll sacrifice a few dollars to get people in the Rooms now. Heelish was saying the opposite.

Honestly, I know CM's don't always have all of the info, but the CM was right about that. It would be very unusual for a discount to drop later than this.

Im a TA. I would usually have it loaded into my system in the morning. The link doesnt always work in the morning, but I can at least see its coming on a specific day (same day..like the rest of you. They dont tell us ahead of time). There is nothing in my system this morning. But fingers XXXXX. They've been weird all year with release dates being much later than historically, or in the case of free dining, way earlier. Who knows. But Im really leaning towards not today. But maybe tomorrow

Yeah, no expert here, but every time I’ve jumped on Day 1 of an offer, it was first thing in the am...like business hours. There’s also usually been TA intel that it’s coming. Oh well, so we wait. No point in getting upset...we know that this is a weird year because of SWGE. I’m also going to expect a conservative offer if/when it does happen, but be giddy if it’s more. I miss the days of deep discounts, but they did say a few years ago that they’d be weaning us off of them...so, it is what it is.

Last year it looks like they released the PSD on a Wednesday, so fingers still crossed for this week (tomorrow). Having a rough time and would really love a good discount to cheer me up (saving money makes me happy lol, I love a good deal). Then I just have to wait for AP discounts.

Keep in mind that these rumors (at least the credible ones) typically come from CMs with intel into marketing, call center staffing or IT. I for one, appreciate that these folks are willing to try and give an early indication. Sorry this one was wrong guys!

It’s all good, what’s consistent is that packages/ deals are coming (got the same confirmation from CM when I called about Rivera). Whatever the discount is, I’m just going to be happy to get something! Anything would be better than the standard rack rates right? If it works for my/ your/ anyone’s situation, great! Otherwise there are other options. We’ll all figure it out eventually
And now I shall return to my “big discounts, low low crowds” prayers

If im reading this right, does this mean you can only book one room with this discount since it says card member must stay in the room? We are booking 2 rooms as my SIL and her family are coming with us.
