Sorry if this has already been discussed but do you get a better discount if you use a Disney Visa card? Or what is the Visa offer mentioned above?

In addition to what @queenvee noted, there have been times when the Disney Visa discount releases a day or two before the general public one, which can give you an availability advantage as well as a deeper discount.

I kept telling myself I was happy with the resort I booked, but then I did what I always do in these situations.... MATH! Disney MATH! Ya know...the kind that helps you justify that upgrade if the pricing difference isn't that far off from what you've already budgeted. It's the most maddening and exciting kind of math I know!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! My husband always tells me that if I had taken more Disney trips as a kid, my math skills would be far better than they actually are!

I called this morning and was told the following: call next month, we're not allowed to say, and try Tuesday. ( Oct. 1st) !
She also suggested I check online. I usually like to talk to a person, but I guess I'll try online. I am not waiting until Tuesday though!

I already paid for thousands on the vacation and most of it was with random 100$ gift cards I bought off Target. I have a Disney Chase but didnt use it for the deposit. If I refunded and rebooked, would they refund each indivudal card/gift card used or just transfer it to the new package?

If you are immediately rebooking it goes directly to the new reservation. I’ve had to do it a few times. The only thing that goes back to the cards is any refunded money. If you cancel then wait to rebook it goes back to the gift cards.

There is not currently a promo out for Disney Visa, but the Disney Visa promo is usually a higher percentage off the room rate. Historically the Disney Visa offer has been between 25-35% off room only rates while the general public rate is usually between 15-25% off.
