Booked the resort portion of our January vacation today! I was originally planning a spring break trip, but finally figured out how to make this work instead. I'm hugely in favor of lower costs and crowds! It's also 180 days out, so I made ADRs right away.
The trip will definitely include me and DD (5). It's possible other family members may join us at the parks and/or on the cruise.
Reservations booked so far:
Flights: Southwest
Resort: Contemporary, January 12-15.
2 day park tickets. Planning to upgrade those to Annual Passes, since we will be going back in December.
ADRs:
1/13 dinner at California Grill - fireworks!
1/14 lunch at Teppan Edo
1/14 dinner at Chef Mickey's
Both dinner ADRs are at the resort and are on the late side for a five year old, so they will be the last big event of the day.
I still need to book the cruise for the 15th - 18th. I'm looking at DCL on the Dream (Port Canaveral, Nassau, Castaway Cay, Port Canaveral) or RC on Enchantment of the Seas (Port Canaveral, CocoCay, Nassau, Port Canaveral). RC would either be significantly cheaper, or we could upgrade to a better cabin class. But, it's hard not to go Disney! This will be our first cruise.
So excited!
