I told my DH that once I graduate, I would be willing to make the sacrifice of moving into the Cinderella Suite and be a computer programmer for Disney.


Well I worked today on a new pattern for the MH scarf. I'm working on it now and I won't go to sleep until I see how it's going to turn out. I'll post a picture and let y'all know if it looks ok. If not, it's going to file 13.

Well I figured it out. I made a new pattern and it helped tons. I'll posts pics of both sides.

Now I just need to make a pattern to include one side to have stripes, and then test that one out. Then the really hard part, of going to the store and picking out yarns.

Thank you. It's not the colors the actual scarf will be, but just colors I had that were the same thickness. The real scarf will be green on the solid side, & the stripes will more than likely be blue, purple, white, pink.

Well before I make that one, I am actually making a couple for a friend and her daughter that are going to WDW in December. My plan is to make their's red and white stripes on one side and green and white on the other, I'm going to make sure that the white stripes are off set. Then on the red and white side, the MH will be green. On the green and white side, the MH will be red. I showed it to my mom and she wants me to make her some scarves for her Etsy shop to sale. Instead of MHs, on one she wants it in the Univeristy of Oklahoma colors and it'll have an OU at each end. The other will be in the color of the University of Texas and have a UT on each end. She does want me to make her at least one Mickey one, that I think I'll just do in red, black, and white.

I'm so excited, DH is getting more and more into the trip I took youngest DS to baseball yesterday and when I got back youngest DD was twirling an umbrella, DH told her to tell me where she was going to get a new one, she turned and said DISNEY WORLD, and he had her watching parade videos on you tube! WooHoo!!! Maybe he's finally gotten bitten by the Disney Bug!!!

Thank you. My mom tried to learn how to knit several times and she said that it just didn't work. I figured out the solid with stripes MK and the otherside strips with solid MK. These are not the colors I would use, but here is what it'll look like.

Now I just have to figure out how to make the one that I want to do for my friend that is red/white and green/white stripes with solid red and green MHs.

I can't wait for January either. I can book our ADR's on July 9th. Hopefully, we will be able to book a bounceback on our June trip.
