Well I'm ironing out the kinks for our January trip, got rooms, flights, a couple ADR's and car lined up, and I was looking into the stroller situation. I was at
Disneyland this summer with the two kids by myself, and even though they haven't used a stroller in ages (daughter is 4, son is 5/6) I ended up renting the stroller there. It's a single only stroller-rental zone, so we kept getting busted for letting my son sit in sister's lap.
Heading down on January 1, and saw that our leisurely tour with ten day park hoppers was going to involve $270.00 + in stroller fees, and private rental with insurance would be over $150.00. Think I'll be using Wal-Mart ship to store to pick up a sit and stand-like device, and since we'll never need it again, I'm offering to transfer free and clear title to said stroller to a DisBoards person, along with whatever goodies we happen to need to unload (usually along the lines of a 4-pack of beer, 2 half drunk bottles of tequila, laundry soap, half eaten jar of peanut butter, 4 frozen corn dogs, 10,000 maps, 4,000 expired fastpasses, and a
AAA parking pass, hopefully dated 2011.)
On January 15 we fly out in the morning VIA AirTran at 11ish. Will be checking out of the Wyndham Bonnett Creek that morning at 7-8ish, depending on what we see for Budget Car rental return hassle, and how much the TSA situation has changed by then. Prior night we will be at Hoop-de-do, probably have a car at the TTC at that point. Don't know if we'll need the stroller the previous day.
The options seem to be:
Stroller left at lost & Found at Hoop de do with your name and cel phone # on it,
Stroller left at TTC lost & Found, or perhaps any Monorail Resort or MK,
Stroller left at Wyndham bonnett creek somewhere with your name on it, full of afore mentioned goodies. (my preference)
Stroller sans goodies left at the airport somehow, hopefully without triggering some sort of SWAT team involvement. (leaving this in in case someone is arriving there at 10ish, especially if you are renting Budget)
