Well I haven't dug out suitcases yet, but I've got a box where I am putting new clothes I've bought for the trip and won't let us wear till then lol. I've been making a clothing list of like what to wear each day to the parks and working on an itenirary for like a month already hahah. DH says I'm obsessed...I prefer to say I'm in the Disney Spirit princess:

:cool1: Good! I'm not the only one then. But what clothes are you buying for the trip? I was wanting to get a few new shirts, but can't find any warm weather clothing here. With the weather varying so in Jan., I was just going to take some summer and fall outfits - mainly capris, a few shorts, and a few long pants. I must admit I'm not getting down to what outfit for what day. :) When we went in June we were going in summer and taking summer clothes. Right now we're not wearing anything I'm planning on taking, so I figured it could sit in the suit case as easily as in a box in the closet. :thumbsup2
I say we have the Disney spirit and are well planned. ;)

Just recently decided to put a trip together. We're driving down on Dec. 31. We'll stay with family and will be at WDW Jan 3-5.

I've got a few shirts for me and DS on the Disney store website. Some of the womens tees are 2 for $22 and the kids are usually 2 for $18. I got myself a cute Toy Story tee thats red. And for our CRT ressie, I got a grey tee with sparkly pink hearts and Cinderellas castle on it. There was a zip up hoodie I liked too, it was on sale for $36, instead of normally 50-something. I got it in hot pink and its got WDW written on the front in plaid letters.

Well I'm ironing out the kinks for our January trip, got rooms, flights, a couple ADR's and car lined up, and I was looking into the stroller situation. I was at Disneyland this summer with the two kids by myself, and even though they haven't used a stroller in ages (daughter is 4, son is 5/6) I ended up renting the stroller there. It's a single only stroller-rental zone, so we kept getting busted for letting my son sit in sister's lap.

Heading down on January 1, and saw that our leisurely tour with ten day park hoppers was going to involve $270.00 + in stroller fees, and private rental with insurance would be over $150.00. Think I'll be using Wal-Mart ship to store to pick up a sit and stand-like device, and since we'll never need it again, I'm offering to transfer free and clear title to said stroller to a DisBoards person, along with whatever goodies we happen to need to unload (usually along the lines of a 4-pack of beer, 2 half drunk bottles of tequila, laundry soap, half eaten jar of peanut butter, 4 frozen corn dogs, 10,000 maps, 4,000 expired fastpasses, and a AAA parking pass, hopefully dated 2011.)

On January 15 we fly out in the morning VIA AirTran at 11ish. Will be checking out of the Wyndham Bonnett Creek that morning at 7-8ish, depending on what we see for Budget Car rental return hassle, and how much the TSA situation has changed by then. Prior night we will be at Hoop-de-do, probably have a car at the TTC at that point. Don't know if we'll need the stroller the previous day.

The options seem to be:

Stroller left at lost & Found at Hoop de do with your name and cel phone # on it,

Stroller left at TTC lost & Found, or perhaps any Monorail Resort or MK,

Stroller left at Wyndham bonnett creek somewhere with your name on it, full of afore mentioned goodies. (my preference)

Stroller sans goodies left at the airport somehow, hopefully without triggering some sort of SWAT team involvement. (leaving this in in case someone is arriving there at 10ish, especially if you are renting Budget)

Let me know if you are interested

I just have to say......TWO MONTHS!!!! TTTWWWWOOOOO MONTHS! pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

:dance3: CONGRATULATIONS!!! Is this your first trip?
Wait til you hit the 1 week mark - It is elated excitement of going and sheer panic of not having everything ready or being late for the plane etc :scared1:

Kewl. I'll have to take a look. Was really just wanting some plan polo shirts.
What day are you going to CRT. We're going Friday night. First time at CRT! My daughter is so stoked. :cool1:

I haven't been back to WDW since about 1991, so it *feels* like my first trip! So much has changed. It's my DD's first Disney trip. I cannot wait to see the look on her face when we walk into MK!!

We will be there Wednesday morning about 8:30ish. Looked into doing lunch or dinner, but DS is such a picky eater, I knew I'd be paying for a meal there he wouldn't eat and at those prices I just couldn't!! But he always will eat breakfast food, so hopefully he will there.

I don't know if anyone else was having problems finding warm weather clothes in the stores to add to what you taking to WDW in Jan. If any one is interested they have womens short sleeve t-shirts and polos, shorts, and capris at JCPenneys online. Hope this helps if anyone else is needing an extra shirt or two to take along. :)

We hit another milestone. Our days are no longer in the 40's as we're at 39 days. The only sad thing is this trip was to start with me running the marathon but I tore something in the arch of my foot. So now we'll just have to party in WDW for 10 days!!!

Hi!
we are arriving at Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary on the 14th and could definately use the sit 'n stand for our family of six. Please email me whatever details and arrangement we might need to make if this is still available. If not - no problem!
One less stroller on the airplane is ALWAYS a blessing! We'll pay it forward.
Thanks -

Arriving 10th and staying at the Pop Century. Girlfriend and I's trip and it's definitely going to be fun.
Hoping the weather will be nice as well! Anything better than the snow in Boston that time of the month.
