BEST SITE EVER, i ended up going with dollar, but they totally tried to double my price at the kiosk with insurance, and was trying to rush me threw it so i would "miss" it, but after noticing it they changed it back to my original price and everything was great, just pay lots of attention to what you are signing, and what they have you"accept" on the screen.

Budget tried the same thing with my daughter when she used them in November at the counter. She caught it and had them correct it. Their hard sell can confuse you, which is why we always like using National Aisle.

Ugh! I took a gamble with Priceline and lost. Oh well. We have 8 people in our party (me, DH, my parents, and our kids), so we bid on 2 cars a month ago for our January trip, so I could be prepared. Now rates are so low with the coupons on Alamo, we could have gotten an 8 passenger minivan for $60 less than the two cars! And we're not staying on-site this time, so that's 2 parking fees at the parks. Boooo! You live and you learn.

Thanks for posting. We're getting a standard size and these same codes weren't doing anything for me so I went with the double upgrade and SUNPROMO. Well I just punched your codes in again and it beats my other ressie by $32.

Enter contract ID 5028683 and coupon 29Z3ZDI. In the many times I've rented from National, I've never been asked to present a coupon. But it says you might need one when going through the reservation process.

Also, checkout mousesavers dot com for other discounts for other rental companies.

Just checked car rental savers again for 1/19-1/26 for a minivan and we are down to $152.49! Thank you all for the recommendation of this site!!

When I plug it in for your dates (a mirror of mine, I have an 11am arrival and a 6pm return) It's coming up with a total of 153.

I haven't checked the differences, but I don't use the 1/2 hour increments, after hearing anecdotal stories of them causing higher rates, so you might want to look at that.

I've posted before that I check my National rental daily as I found it to often drop several dollars. Today, I checked. For a mid-size car 15 (2pm) - 17 (7 pm) January - $1,075 including taxes.

Glad I booked it and locked in at $150 several weeks ago.

Just booked Alamo on their website for 1/29 to 2/5 for a minivan with the code 7014667 and $40 coupon on mousesavers.
Total with taxes is $156.61!

You can go to this page on the carrentalsavers site:

They have the discount and coupon built in, I find it a little easier to keep checking the rates.
