Bummer....they just released last minute rates for my timeframe (National) and the rates are higher instead of lower. Oh well. I got a rate I'm happy with. It would've been nicer to save even more. I still have 12 days left. Maybe next weeks last minute fares will be lower.

I managed $237 total for a 2 week full size reservation. The same full size would cost me $219 with Alamo, but I'd rather pay the extra $20 to use Exec. Aisle and score something bigger. I'm still watching.

Anyone have a recommendation on how to get the lowest rate for a rental begining tomorrow through the 11th for an SUV or mini van?

Right now I have $300 for a standard SUV using the 3rd party website listed in post 4 (which kind of makes me nervous never having used them before).

I have Costco, I am an Alamo insider, AAA, etc.

Hi, I used the Entertainment book coupon for $40 off, plus I think your timeframe is a little longer than mine. I'm actually 1 week, 6 days, 2 hours. I think we used the same code back when the rates were lower. Now they are higher, but I still have 12 days to watch for a drop. You actually have 3 weeks, so you may luck out and get a really good rate. I keep hoping that National would release one of those $50 coupons! Now that would be good.

I have used that site several times with no issues. I found a minivan about $50 cheaper on the same site (rate may vary depending on times) using the link below:

Just got the lowest price yet on alamo for a minivan tomorrow for 7 days. $223 I went from budget at 302 to advantage at 246 to alamo's. I'm happy because you can check in online with alamo and use the Kiosak and out the door to your car. It was really fast the last time we used it. Can't wait to leave tomorrow. 3 more hours of work and gone for 12 days.

Rates for my trip Jan 29 thru Feb 6 actually have gone back up. From $105 to $165, glad I booked when I did, though that may go back down doubt they will go any lower than what I got.

I put in 1/27 noon to 2/8 noon (12 days). I used the continental code (free sign up) 5007160 and the current $35 e-coupon code ND8459DJK.

Keep in mind that as you time gets closer it could get even better. Good luck.

does it matter that i am renting from disney's car care ctr and not the airport?

alamo Code 7014667 and the $40 off code from mousesavers.

i think that renting from the airport might be cheaper and you dont' have a saturday night keep, which might make a lot of coupons not valid.
