Of course, we are driving down this time in Dec. - ugh. I always think that if I have to use two days of vacation to get there, and two days to get back, I'd prefer to spend 4 more days at WDW!! Maybe it's just b/c we take a lot of road trips (cheaper) and I'm sick of them!

OMG 45 days,I cannot beleive it

time is going fast, I recently changed jobs and have been extremely busy,it was well over 90 days ago that i joined this thread !

I have been going through the dinning reviews and food porn,and I am so torn between making changes...again I am reconsidering tepan edo,not sure if the kids will love it or not, we watched ratatoulli again last night,remy is so cute, maybe a chef de france is in order for lunch, or paradisio 37, or sci fi, although we have already done sci fi,and this trip is supposed to be new places only... we have not done beaches and cream though..too many choices !

I also wanted to try and set up some meets,but have not got around to it,but i did post my distag pictures,so hopefully i will meet up with some of you randomly, don't be shy if you see the tags

Nope, not crazy! Just want to see more of the U.S.! The only States I have been in are Florida, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Actually I have been in the CHicago/O'Hare airport and in Washington State for about an hour when we drove from Vancouver to pick up a friend. I don't really count those though cause they were so short.

We drive to Duluth/Superior a lot and we visit Minneapolis once in a blue moon. I have flown to Florida 4 times now. I just have a desire to see more of your beautiful country and I figure driving is the best way to do it!

We would take 3 days each way to drive and really enjoy our selves! Like I said it is a dream and probably won't become a reality for a long while!

We take a lot of trips where we drive two days to get somewhere, spend a week and drive two days home. It's more fun to drive a day, stop and spend a day doing something fun, and then going on again. I want to do that driving out west - Mt. Rushmore, Jackson Hole, Colorado etc. someday. Although, some states are REALLY boring to drive through (Iowa, Indiana, N or S Dakota, ahem - no offense anyone).

I just signed up for UG - it's freaking me out...they have Jan. 25th listed as a 7 for crowds?!?!

I have to wonder if this is accurate. I can't imagine a random Monday in January being almost as full as Thanksgiving week (listed as a level 8 right now) and the same as the Saturday before Christmas week (listed as a 7). I went two years ago this same week and the levels were all 3-5. Yes, one day was actually listed as a 3!! It was our day off so I didn't get to see what that was like unfortunately but the 4 the day before was virtually walk on everywhere.

No offense taken! I would LOVE to take like a month and just drive all over the U.S. stopping at everything we wanted to see and going wherever we wanted to! I think that would be SO much fun!

I'm signing on to the thread too! Just yesterday I booked four nights at the Poly for me and DW, arriving 1/15/10. It's going to be her super secret Christmas surprise.

I was able to book the following ADRs, each at exactly the time I wanted...
1/16 -Kona
1/17 - 50's PTC
1/18 -1900 Park Fare
1/18 -Tony's

My only disappointment is that I could not get an evening ADR at Le Cellier. We've never eaten there and I really wanted to try it.

Maybe we can get one representative for each week in Jan and plan a meet for each week. I'm hesitant to make any plans for a meet during my week because I promised DH we'd do this trip a little more relaxed and I can't guarantee we will be in any certain place at any certain time. It's going to be enough to get us to the 3 ADR's I booked!

Happy 10th Anniversary! Are you doing anything special- besides going to Disney of course like a vow renewal or something like that while you're there?
