Can I join the party...a little late??

We'll be there January 2 - 10 at BWV!

We will be celebrating my DS 3rd birthday on Jan 8th and I'm running the Donald Half Marathon on Jan 9th!

I can't wait!!!!

Here's some of our details:
Boardwalk Villas (studio 1st night, 1-bedroom all other nights)

*We added an 8th night at the last minute, so we decided to go with a Studio to save points since it's a Saturday night.

We have all our dining ressies made - but I'll have to post about those later. I'm off to read the thread...and everyone else's plans!

I got all of my Christmas decorations up today...the exciting part of that is that when Christmas is over, we will only be 2 weeks away from our trip to Disney World. Also, paid my final paymet yesterday! YIPPEE... Now hoping for that e-mail offering the photopass at a reduced rate. I won't pay the full price, but I probably will buy it if I get that discount e-mail! Woo Hoo....we are getting closer and closer to January!

I am not aware of this. What kind of discount? Who does the e-mail come from? Disney or Photopass? how much is the discount? and would the code only be for me or could I share it if I got said e-mail?

I will be away for Christmas, so I am still up in the air about decorating all out this year. last year we had two trees, and I decorated everywhere. but if I do that this year, I will be taking it all down in Late January. I don't know if I want to do that...But I will be having a Christmas party before we go, so I feel that I should do some decorating. I won't go overboard this year but I love this season so much!

I need some opinions, I am leaning toward keeping Le Cellier,we have never been,how different could AK really be at night, right?

Hmmm tough one. Love LeCellier..... and very hard to get a reservation. But I can tell you from experience, nighttime at DAK is VERY different. Different feel and with winter hours does not take long to get dark. Expedition Everest at night (wear a jacket or sweatshirt) totally blows away any coaster on propertly......weird and wild at the same time! Just my thoughts.... no help at all, LOL, but just my thoughts!!

If you have done LeCellier before but never DAK at night....I would lean toward DAK.

I think it's $99 if you preorder it rather than wait until after your trip. I'm not 100% sure though since Disney changed some rules on it lately.

I would love to go there too but the food does not interest after they made those changes last year. Hope they change it back.

I love coming to read here. It is proof to my DH that I amnot the only one struggling with our dinner plans !

I am thinking of cutting out Ohanna, I keep hearing the food has gone down hill . We will have my 17 mo old Granddaughter with us and I dont think this will be fun for her . Question is what to replace it with ??

On the Photopass deal - they now only offer the $99 preorder to you if you are staying on site. I got an email about 2 months before my trip (I got it in Oct) from Disney Destinations. It said something like "Disney Vacation must sees for the ____ Family. Near the bottom was a link to Photopass and through that link I could do the $99 pre-order. Go check your in box!

Ohana - we enjoyed the breakfast last time and are doing it again. Served family style, potatoes, eggs, meats, and Mickey waffles. and OH the juice!! YUM. I would have liked to try somewhere else, but everyone else out voted me. Never been for dinner. Not really excited to try that. I am getting to go to Kona for a lunch though!

the breakfast is good,served family style, they start you off with a basket of the best sweet bread ever, a pineapple yummy bread, and fruit,then a platter of scambled eggs,potatos,bacon,sausage and biscuits.
the best part is the character interaction with lilo,stitch,mickey and pluto, last year when we were there, mickey and stitch has a lightsaver battle, it was really cute.
I am not a huge fan of the dinner,it is ok, but too much meat.

As someone alread said the e-mail comes from Disney Destinations. It is supposed to come 45 days prior to your trip and that was exactly what it did for me today. The pre-order offers the photopass cd (with all pictures you can have taken) for $99.95 It also offers the option of adding the Disney Photo Gallery of Disney pictures and a photo book. The full package is $179.95. You can also order a personalized photopass card for $4.95. I think these are all correct prices...I'm trying to remember from my e-mail. I have heard that you don't want to order the personalized photopass card and then go back and try to order the pre-order cd or the link won't work the 2nd time. Just an FYI. Hope this info helps.

Glad to hear breakfast is good. We're more of breakfast folks anyway. I think my kids are really going to love Ohana's!

ohhh,I can see some DIS meets in that spreadsheet, If I do give up my LeCellier on january 6th to take advantage of AK EMH,there will be 4 of us there, 2 at tusker and 2 at yak & yeti.

On Jan 7th, there will be quite a few of us at HS for fantsmic,so maybe we can meet before our ADR's.
