We are coming in late January 15 and leaving the 20th. This will be my 13 and 15 year old daughters xmas present. I thought I had to wait untill Oct. 16 to make the ADR on Jan. 16, then Oct. 17 for the Jan. 17, and so on. I have read that some people have made all there ADR's before the 90 days? Can you start based on the first days stay rather than day by day?

IF you are staying on Disney property, you can make all of your ADRs beginning 90 days from your first day on site (up to 10 days worth). So if your 90 day mark is October 16, you could make all your ADRs that day for the whole stay (assuming it's not more than 10 days). If you are not on property, you have to do them at each 90 day mark. Make sense?

It's 3:37 AM and my reservations are done! YES! I said 3:37 AM!!! I tried to pull up my ressie online before 3 and it wouldn't accept it. So I tried 1 minute after 3 and it took it. I got everything I wanted. Not the exact times I wanted but close enough. I'll post more details later.

Me too!!!!!!!!! Glad I wasn't the only nut at this time of night. Just received confirmation email also. Great system, as long as it's operating right! I also started about a 1 - 2 minutes before 3 and it kicked in. I worked on last day, 1/15 (Fri), figuring it would be the hardest then cont'd going backwards to my first date 1/11. Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:surfweb: :yay:  :cool1:

We have sent stuff down the last three years for our January trip. We check with UPS and send our package usually 5-7 days early (of course your results may very;)). We've had no problems getting the packages at the resort. It lightens our bags a whole bunch and it sure makes things much easier!:thumbsup2

Very good news. I thought UPS was a good choice. Do I need to mention that I have shipped things at check in?

We had good luck with all of our ADR including Le Cellier with a dinner for 2. I must have had all the stars align for that to happen. Really looking forward to Boma and Jiko too.

I'm glad somebody had better luck with the online ADR system than I did. When I made ressies for our Sept. trip it worked great. This time...:headache: But at least I got the essential ADR's! popcorn::

Thank you all for your suggestions! DH decided (with the help of DS5 and DS9) that we should try Chef Mickey's for dinner too. So, I guess we'll go there instead of they Crystal Palace. You know what that means though.....we HAVE to plan another trip ....you know....when Crystal Palace is open again!:rotfl2:

We are going January as well. First timers to Disney World (although we go to Disneyland at least once a month! :)), and no we don't have any kids.
Had a random question. Are the extra magic hours worth going to? And if so, which would you prefer - the morning or the evening?

To our family, no. I prefer to go to whatever park is NOT having the EMH because it's generally less crowded. Time is money! :rotfl:
BUT, if you're early morning or late night people, and maybe you have park hoppers, I've heard of people that like to get up and go to EMH, then when the park opens for the public, go somewhere less crowded.
Have a great trip! One of these days we'll make it out to Disneyland!

We enjoy the am EMH, because we are early risers. We usually don't make the pm EMH (probably b/c we are early risers!). They seem more crowded. One strategy is to go to the park that had pm EMH the night before. I think it's Tourguide Mike or one of those that suggests that. It seemed to work well for us last January when we did that. The mornings were really empty - I'm guessing most people don't want to get up early on vacation. I wouldn't either, but no one told my kids that!

This is good news about online ADRs! So for those of you that had success- did you try to logon prior to your ADR day and retrive our ressie?
I find the online seaching takes a long time... mind you I will be booking 3 meals a day most days as we are on Deluxe Plan. I think for the most part my plans will be ok, but I hear LTT is all booked due to CP refurb.
Last trip I didn't even try for Le Cellier dinner, but we got lunch no problem - I think I may try and see...

I will give the online dining ressies a try on the 25th, hope it works and is not so slow.

It all looks wonderful except you may want to rethink the plans on the 2nd  They don't look so wonderful to me. :confused3

I'm glad to hear all the good feedback with the online ressies. I can't wait until I can get mine. I'm only making 2 but by golly I want 'em! :thumbsup2

You should be able to retrieve ressie, sometimes system doesn't work, but keep trying. Read earlier in posts to clear all your prior brower history to enable your computer to work faster. I was able to log in this am at 3:00 but had already retrieved ressie and on my first restaurant page, just kept refreshing computer prior to 3:00 am. Have everything listed by exact name of restaurant so all you have to do is use "search" on top of page. You can play with process without logging in so you can get use to what pages will look like. Also go for your most important ressies first, you don't have to go in date order. After all your ressies are in your cart, then check out. Within 10 mins. I had email of all confirmations. Good luck!

Has anyone been able to make a 90+ ADR on line?

Today is the 90 day mark for the start of our vacation. I want to make an ADR for 3 days into our stay. The online calendar has that day greyed out.

Is there a way to 'enable' that date with my reservation #?

Thanks

Are you sure? Possibly it's tomorrow, remember Sept only had 30 days not 31? If in doubt, call WDW dining right away they'll confirm. If it's really tomorrow prepare to wake up a little before 3:00 am tonight, this was you're on WDW dining, retrieved your reservation, and on first priority restaurant you want (doesn't matter what day you can start with any date). Just keep refreshing the page until it kicks in. Hope this helps!

Hey Grammy Judy--what are the chances? We're from VT and will be heading to the World on the same days! (we'll actually be heading out the day before for a room-only at All Stars Sports before our pkg and AKL stay begins on the 27th) What a funny coincidence :goodvibes

Thanks for the advice.

Online, Jan 12th is enabled, which is 90 days from my check in day . Jan 15th, 3 days into my stay, is disabled.

I understand this as the website doesn't know how long I am staying after my arrival on the 12th until I can enter my res #. I haven't tried it, but I wonder if I make an ADR for the 12th the system will allow me to make one for the 15th.
