I was just over on the CODES board and someone over there was reporting that a CM just told them on the phone that 2010 pkgs will be released on Aug 15th!

I hate waiting too. At least when they do come out I can get my budget set. I'd rather plan on spending more and then end up saving when those great discounts are released in November!

I would love some good suggestions for a dining place. We realized at first we were going to go back to all our facortie spots from our last trip, but I wanted to try some new stuff!!
We are a family of 4. DS is 5 and DD is 4.
Here are the places we know for sure we are going to.

California Grill
Chef Mickeys
Whispering Canyon Cafe

We need 2 more places! Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

We love Ohana. The food is great, and the wait staff is very nice. Plus during dinner they get the kids involved in doing dancing or coconut races where you push a coconut with a broom. If you ask for a seat near the window you can see the Magic Kingdom and if you are there late enough you can watch the fireworks while eating dinner.

We also really enjoyed the character dinner at Crystal Palace. Tigger, Pooh, Eyore and Piglet come around th your table, then the kids can join in a parade around the restaurant with the characters. Very fun!

Cali Grill and WCC are two of our faves!! Another vote here for Ohana. It's one we do every year! We also do Biergarten. Very fun atmosphere, the kids can go out and dance with the band! I LOVE LOVE LOVE planning for our Disney Dining!!!

And whoever said the rates weren't coming out until the 15th...
I CAN'T WAIT THAT LONG!!!!!!! I was hoping for the 2nd!! I finally got up the courage to ask my new boss if January would be too soon to ask for a weeks vaca...NO problem with her! I LOVE MY NEW JOB!!

We stayed at POFQ end of May and it was great, everything is really close to the main bldg, it was very quiet as well, i think you'll love it.
US this time we're staying at POP, DH and I are excited for Low Crowds and hopefully Low Humidity haha

Thanks Kim! I'm keeping up with the Snowbird list (well trying to anyway!) and Soleil is going to keep up with the ADR's when the time comes. Thank goodness there's 2 of us because it's lots to keep up with! I don't know how Shelly did it on her own

We stayed at POFQ end of May and it was great, everything is really close to the main bldg, it was very quiet as well, i think you'll love it.

I heard from someone at work yesterday that ADR's are 90+10 for resort guests even though my guidebook says 180. Any ideas which is right?

They recently changed it from 180 to 90 days for most reservations.
