Morning, Snowbirds!!

It is freezing here this morning! I don't think I want to go outside at all today.



Very excited, though, because today is the 4 week mark!!

Morning, snowbirds! Hope everyone had a good weekend. It was cold in our area - I think we might have hit 20 yesterday, but we woke up to temperatures in the teens and windchills in the negatives! Made me not want to leave the house at all!!

Ohhh....I just realized we're going to Disney on Ice this weekend!! I'm so excited. We haven't told our son yet - he keeps seeing it advertised on TV... If we tell him we're going, that's all he'll talk about all week!!

The obsession has set in. Im not even as excited about Christmas. I saved and stressed and pinched and when I paid off the trip on my debit card knowing I was paying cash, I was thrilled and I allowed myself to get excited, now I cant stop thinking about it! Glad Im done shopping for Christmas.

The Disney Obsession...have it and know it well LOL!!! Congrats on paying off your trip...and yes know you can get really excited and really start enjoying your trip and the anticipation for it!!!

I just hit the 5 week mark!!! YAY!!!

Good Morning Snowbirds!! Well I went to school early to get my classroom set up with a sub! I'm staying home today to hopefully get an electrician over to these parts LOL!!!

I'm also going to finish decorating my house and work on my PTR...a lot has happened the last couple of weeks....I can't believe how fast time has flown since Thanksgiving...soon it will be Christmas YAY!!!

Well off to surprise the hubby with breakfast, do dishes, and then I'll be back to chit chat!! Hope you all have a great day!

Brrr...it's about 5 here right now. I know it will warm up later, but I could really wait until January or February for these kind of cold snaps.

Right there with you! It was 5 when we dropped off our daughter at school. I love Upstate New York!!!! When I checked online, it was around 50 at Disney now. Heck, break out the shorts!

Good morning all! Just got back from the bus stop and I'm frozen. It's about 15 right now and the high is once again in the mid 20's. Of course, I have TONS of errands to run. Grrrrr!!! My DH is off from work tomorrow so that means we're going out to breakfast. Yummy! However, we don't get to relax with each other. He has his accounting final tomorrow night that he needs to study for. It's his last night of grad school for the semester and that makes both me and our DD very happy. Well, I'm off to freeze my buns off! Be back later!

Hi Everyone!!!

I thought I would join the January party. My DH and I will be at AKL Jan. 23-30th. This is the first trip without our boys since we were dating and lived near the world. This is actually the honeymoon we never had, plus we are celebrating both our birthdays as well. We are both very excited!! I hope to run into some of you while we're there!

Oh, and I just paid off the trip today!!! Only 47 more days til we get there!

Good Morning Snowbirds!! It's cold-ish here this a.m., but it's gonna warm up to 70--but lots of wind. Then tomorrow evening, gallons of rain, then back down low!! So many people here have sinus stuff--and of course it's all due to heater,air conditioner,heater, air conditioner...you get the idea!!!
Well, I am planning a fairly lazy week!! One night this week each of the kids are going to get a friend to spend the night--so that day'll be crazy!!! I am going to take the kids pictures and get the Christmas cards out and plan my holiday baking!!!!! Also, I have to get next semester's lesson plans prepared. The kids I am sure will be busy just hanging around here for a day or two enjoying some rest!!! I am going to have to be secretly working on my packing/shipping lists for our trip!!!!! Well, hope you all have a peaceful Monday!!!

I used to hate when that happened!!! But, lucky for me, Mike's office is just up the highway, so I could slowly creep down the back streets and get it--if he couldn't run it back to me!!

I have done park TS and CS and resort TS and CS. . . With our trips getting closer I thought I'd go back to the beginning and start posting the more popular Snowbird restaurants again. . .

They say it is not Disney, but it is the Non-Disney owned restaurants that can't make up their minds yet. . . Apparently they lose money by participating, so they are probably waiting til the last minute hoping Disney will make them a better offer to get them to participate! Those are just my thoughts though, who really knows!
