Shelly, I have an addition. We decided after all this code talk that if we end up going to a different resort and there's a dining deal, we'd better have one more TS ADR.
So I added Ohana character breakfast at 8:30 on 2/1. (Then we go to the cruise!!)

Thanks!!

Alrighty ladies,
Time for me to grab some dinner and then really focus on studying for tomorrow's midterm!

Have a great night! I hope everyone has a wonderful code filled day tomorrow!

QOTD: What's your favorite photo op spot at WDW? If this will be your first trip, where are you most looking forward to taking a picture?

Ok, well of course in front of the castle. My sister and I get a picture in front of the Nemo stuff at the Living Seas. We will also be getting a family picture with Goofy.

I think that the unplanned pictures are the best ones! The ones of the kids running up to the castle, playing on the bridge by Crystal Palace, the expression on their faces as they see the castle for the first time! I am also really looking forward to those neat pictures (photopass, I believe) with tinkerbelle, stitch, captain hook etc! Those are so cool! :thumbsup2

Another photo I really want to do is the ones you can do at the Imagination Pavillion - the ones of the kids flying with Tinkerbelle. A friend of mine and her family went to Disney in March and recently showed me their pics and they are fantastic! Worth the 20 bucks, I think! We will definitely be doing one of those! :woohoo:

Hey I don't think we have a QOTD so I'll post one!

I love the snow white wishing well on one of the castle side paths. It's pretty out of the way so usually quite, but the shot is beautiful with the well and garden and the castle in the back.

So I did respond to this already, but I have to say that I found that spot for the first time on my last trip. I guess it's amazing to me how quiet and secluded that spot is.

Ok, so question. Are codes only for AP or AAA?

OOOH! My kids were out playing with the neighbor kids tonight when my neighbor came over and asked me if we are going to Disney. Now this is a big surprise so I said "NO....but I wish!" She then told me her DH booked a trip at Christmas. I asked her if she got a discount or Free dining. NOPE! BUT ....This is the exciting part for me.....I gave her all the info about The Dis and told her to call and ask a CM if she has a code, discount or if Free Dining applies to her....She is so excited! I'm going over tomorrow to help her try and get a better rate! So now I get to help her plan her trip! Yeah...That should help with my DIS OCD!!!:lmao:

Share the fun!!!! I tell everyone about the DIS!! I can't believe how much I've learned here. Of course, it's encouraging me to go to WDW about a hundred more times so I can see, do, eat everything!

Maybe this should be tomorrow's QOTD, but I'm curious about what people think of the restaurants in Animal Kingdom. We weren't planning on going there this trip, but now may have a 1/2 day there.

Where do you guys like to eat? who else appears with Donald at Tusker House breakfast?
TIA,

I like taking a pic next to the mailbox because as the years go by you can see the growth of your kids....

thanks I called got a very nice CM!!! She looked at our history & said that I had a code from sept till oct & from nov till dec 23. But nothing past that. But she looked further into her stuff & said that NEW CODES will be out Thu or Fri BUT WILL NOT BE ATTACHED to NAMES you will have to have the code # to get it. Then she giggled & said boy will it be worth it.:lovestruc

AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!
BRING...IT...ON...

QOTD:

I love getting pictures in front of the castle. Also each trip I need to get one with Eeyore.

mari360 : love that last picture with all of you and the castle!:goodvibes That should be another one you do year after year

Our favorite family pix spots: Sitting on the ledge in front of the Flower Mickey waiting for rope drop.
In Bruce's mouth.
Watching the boys amazement of the Pixie dust in the walkway leaving Epcot.

Here's our ADR's:
We're planning on POP 1/24-1/30
1/24 Coral Reef 530
1/25 Tusker House Breakfast 905
1/26 Sci Fi Diner 545
1/27 Cali Grill 530 (Hubby's 35th bday Dinner)!!
1/28 Biergarten 535
1/29 Ohana 525

Still thinking about cancelling DDP and switching some of the dinners to lunches so we can have earlier evenings back at the hotel (except for one night for Wishes and Illuminations). Fantasmic scares my kids! Plus, if we're not having as big of meals, I can enjoy some of the wonderful Disney snacks I'm usually too full for. I WANT TO TRY A DOLE WHIP!!! :rotfl2:

I know how you feel, I think Im cutting out of choir tonight . A. its really cold and I have no desire to change out of my sweats today, and B. I'm still studying for tomorrows midterm. Infinately less fun, but more important.

From what I understand now, you need to have photo id for proof of residency, and even if you bought the AP voucher at the discount, when you trade it in for the ticket you need proof of id. So no.

Thanks for the info! I figured you needed to show proof of residency. Not a big deal. We're paying hardly anything for our hotel, so I don't mind spending money on park tickets and such. We're planning on buying from Undercover Tourist, so that saves big money! We are planning on getting 4 day tickets and the ones from UT come with 3 free days!!! Awesome!

Sorry to double post but I have a continuation on the QOTD. I can't wait to take those awesome photopass pictures with the characters and such in them. I also can't wait to get my picture taken with TINK!!

I can finally sleep. The Phillies have won!! I'm sure my other Phillies fans will join my celebration in the morning.

Nighty night.
