Well I'm back from a long hard day of Christmas shopping! I think between my mom and I we bought everything Star Wars there is!!

I can't believe we are still on the same page as when I left!

Sounds like you a great time Shopping!! I really should get started on mine. We finally drew names and I got my cousin who just recently had a baby...I'm thinking maybe a spa certificate so she can get herself pampered one day LOL

Everyone sounds like so much fun! New to this although I am technically not a snowbird coming from the southwest. As of now, my mom and I are going to be at the AKL Jan 17th-24th. We are first timers to the WDW so any suggestions would be great!

Well the only ones that I have been to on your list are the Coral Reef and Garden Grill. Coral Reef was pretty good. Nice if you are on the DDP. I wouldn't pay OOP for it though, too expensive! We thought the food was just okay at Garden Grill, but the service and the characters were great!

We usually end up at mostly character meals and buffets, they just work out better with the kids. DH and I really like LeCellier and Mama Melrose though. Never been to Bongos.

Shelly-thanks for the info. As of now, I wasn't planning on doing the DDP. We don't usually eat desserts and we often share meals so I don't know if that would really work for us. We are doing Garden Grill mostly for the characters as my Mom chose that restaurant and wants to meet Chip and Dale. She has a thing for chipmunks, I guess.

Quick question: How cold will it be? I'm thinking the weather will be similiar to AZ but I'm worried about the humidity making it seem colder than it really is...does that make sense?

That does make sense. . . I've never been in January before, so I'm a little concerned about the weather too. But the whole reason for going in January is to beat the heat, we are tired of being so hot on our trips!

I will be there at 7:35 am..I take it we will probably miss each other LOL

Dancegrl64~ Thank you for posting your pictures-they are gorgeous!! Your dd is soooo pretty!! What a little doll. Your sister was a beautiful bride--loved her dress. And the color of your dresses was so rich!!! I have got to show your picture to my kids--there is a girl at our church (13) and you could be her twin!! It's really crazy how much y'all favor!!!! She's very cute too!!! Do you have naturally curly hair? She does, so I just wondered!!!! Isn't that weird how some people are soooo twin to someone else? I find people's twins a lot!! I think its my hobby!!!

I do have naturally curly hair and so does my DD. I used to hate it, but I've learned to love it. I'm always told that I look like someone that people know. Strange!

Job at Disney... seriously now... my sister and I always tell each other that when we retire we are going to move to Orlando and open up a business like Peggy Sweets... making gift baskets to deliver to resort guests... I bought one a few years ago and knew that I could easliy do something like that.... so thats our plan.... now what to do with those DH's.....

My dinner guests are gone... it was a nice evening... made Penne a la Vodak, a salad, a apple pie, a cheesecake, parmesean puffs and mini artichoke cheese dip bowls.... a few bottle of wine... it was fun... and better yet DH cleaned up the kitchen while we were all chatting....

The reception was at The Hearthstone Manor. It was so gorgeous! I had never been there before. We had to drop stuff off there on Friday and we got to see the room. It just had plain blue chairs, so it just looked so-so. Then, on Saturday, it just looked fabulous with the chair covers!

Hey, what is your software? I just got Photoshop Elements 6.0 and am going to try some online classes to see if I can figure this all out! I love the idea of digital scrapbooking, especially since I can't buy supplies here for traditional scrapbooking. I'll never completely stop using paper, but digital takes up way less space!

How are my peeps doing? Loved the wedding pictures, Dancergrl64! Gorgeous dd! Gorgeous bride! And you are beautiful too! What a family full of beautiful women!

Shelly, sorry you had to go through that awful experience! I remember before we came here we had to have complete physicals. That included bloodwork. My mom is a phlebotamist (how do you spell that????) at a doctor's office, but she refused to stick her own grandchildren. My oldest, who was 5 at the time, did fine. My youngest, who was 18 months, ddi fine. But Maggie? She screamed, recoiled, and cried. It broke my heart! She was just 3.

So, what's the countdown for you all now? I'm down to 86 days!!!! And only 62 more days until I get to come home! I can't wait!!!!

Thank you for the compliments! We had so much fun dressing up and getting our hair done. My DD had such a blast and was so well behaved all day. She had a very mini meltdown, but that was it. We were up early to get to the salon by 9am and we didn't leave the reception until after midnight! She didn't even fall asleep on the ride home!
