Hey everyone!

Boy do I have a bad case of Disney-itis! We were at our local Halloween parade and I watched DS love every second of it (no matter how lame it was). I think I told him 3 or 4 times that the parades at Disney are SOOOOO much better.

His little 4 year old head is going to explode the first time he sees Spectro!

12 weeks from today I'll be crawling into my bed at the Poly!

Thanks jenjolt! I have visited the DLR many, many times and excited about this first trip to WDW. I've looked at maps and a little overwhelmed at how big it is especially compared to DLR but I've been looking forward to this trip for a long time!

Welcome from me, too! I've never been to DLR, but I "think" that you could view WDW as 5 or 6 DLRs, connected by a couple of miles of road in between each one. Every park has it's own feel. Just when you think you have found a favorite, something will happen that will make you rethink your choices! It's great.

I did want to mention something about your ADRs. Apparently the characters are being discontinued at Garden Grill in October. Don't know if it happened yet, but it will soon. We were really disappointed that we won't be able to see them there in January. I think Chip & Dale have also been replaced by Donald at Cape May Cafe, so I don't know if there's anywhere to see them other than Chef Mickey's.

As far as clothes, bring layers - a sweatshirt, long sleeve and short sleeves that you can pile on each other, just in case we have a cold spell. I've been there when it's in the high 40's by the evening. I'm expecting mid-60's to mid-70's in the best case. I have been there when it's gone into the 80's and we've had to wear shorts, too.!

Phew! Finally got caught up most of the laundry - just need to do bedsheets tomorrow! Well, I will say goodnight, off to have my shower and then curl up in my cozy bed! Tomorrow is the 15th, which means Mousesaver newsletter day! Will we see some Codes, finally? Sweet dreams Snowbirds!

We were really disappointed that we won't be able to see them there in January. Mom and I have already started Christmas shopping...have quite a few people done...we draw names for the adults on both sides of family this weekend...then we can really get a move on it. I can't wait to start wrapping...it's my favorite part of shopping...every gift needs ribbon and a bow. I do need to go to the Dollar Tree and get some more wrapping paper...did everyone know that that have Disney paper there?

Actually my mission is to find quotes. I collect them, however a couple weeks ago my computer broke (don't get me started on how... ) and everything is gone. Luckily most of my pictures I had put on snapfish already so those I didn't really "lose". However all of my quotes are gone. I had been collecting them for years.

My friend luckily sent me the ones that she has, so I did get some of mine back, but the ones that I'm most upset about are my Disney ones. Anyone know where I can find some good ones? I literally had 4 pages worth of Disney quotes, from Walt or rides.

Grr...it's so frustrating. I have to do some major research now to find it all again.

Hey Jan. DIS'ers! We'll be there from Jan. 3 - 9 and am cancelling my off site condo to get in at the action at a value onsite. We're a family of five so will be doing connecting rooms at POP or an All Star, or trying for a value! I'm calling my reservation in tomorrow! Have my tickets already (through undercover tourist - but now we're staying onsite wished I wouldn't have - we might have done a dining package - OH WELL! Next time right!) and all our ADR's! We're set and ready.... we'll be arriving in Florida on Dec. 24 (from western canada) and staying in Naples until we hit WDW!

So, we've been reading our guidebooks, and watching the dvds, and you know the 1 thing my little princess is MOST excited for????? K, this is the girl with Princess Breakfast reservations, Dinner in the castle, and BBB reservations???? Finding De Vine in Animal Kingdom!!! The picture fell out of the book and she's been carrying that around with her and showing people - too cute!!!

Today it is exactly 2 months until I get to the US! I don't think I realized just how much I miss home until the countdown started getting closer! I left the US on August 4, 2004. Wow. I will be so happy to land in Newark. Heck, I might even kiss the tarmac. Or the first airport employee I see!

I've been Christmas shopping since last Christmas! I finished all my shopping for Scot, including his birthday. The kids are mostly finished. Still not sure if my sister is getting them a Wii or not. Which makes it difficult to buy because we were going to get them some games. She'll let me know sometime soon, I'm sure!

And that's about that from my part of the world. Better go get ready for Arabic!

I'm just starting to find Disney quotes for when I get home and scrapbook the pics. Perhaps we should start a thread if there isn't one already on the Dis about favorite Disney related quotes. That way we'll never lose them!

Yes, that's what I heard too. . . Chip and Dale should still be at the Garden Grill for dinner, they just discontinued them at lunch. And I haven't heard anything about them not being at Cape May anymore, they were there in May. Also, we have been to Chef Mickey's twice and Chip & Dale have not been there, have you seen them there Sharadoc???
