So with a package deal you only have one month to make the final payment? My vacation is Jan 11-16 and it says my final payment is due on Nov 27>>> Is that right... That doesn't give me a lot of time to come up with the money....

Yes. No matter when you book, it's due 45 days before check in time. We go 1/6-1/11 and we are due by Nov 22nd.

I just talked to a CM and she told me that there are no codes available for POR, but there are some codes left for POFQ. I dont want to change ressies. I just hope that my TA gets a CM that will apply the code to our current res.

4 minutes on hold and another 10 on the line and my family is all set. We have AAA but we booked with disney. Several conversations and quotes from our AAA office proved we knew way more about disney packages and it made me nervous about them handling our trip details.

I managed to apply the code for our vacation in January. We did have to change our dates. The dates were 1/19-1/26 at POP and those dates were sold out.

We changed to 1/20-1/27. We booked through AAA. The original total was $1792 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers at the POP w/o dining which we'll add on later. We also had a preferred room and park hoppers only. Now we're paying $1491 for the same deal. A savings of $251 . We're very excited!

I probably won't use AAA again either for our Disney trips. I wasn't happy with the run around I got and the lack of knowledge about Disney Packages. I'm hoping that nothing gets screwed up with our ressies and converting them to the ZVX code.

They only make a set number of rooms at each resort available for the code. Just because you can't use the code at a given resort certainly doesn't mean it is fully booked.

HI guys! My SIL called to try to apply the Public Code for the MYW package w/ Dining... When she called ASSports was booked so the CM asked her if she wanted to change to POP. After saying, that her DS wanted to stay at ASSports, she decided to change to save the $$$... When he tried to save it in the system it wouldnt' let her change. POP had sold out for the code!!! Just that fast! So now, all the Values are supposedly booked w/ this code. She called back just to double check and that CM said none of the Values were available... They would have saved $250!!! I told her to keep trying in case someone cancels...

So...If anyone is going Jan 19-26 at POP or All Star Sports and decides to cancel, let us know!!!!

They only make a set number of rooms at each resort available for the code. Just because you can't use the code at a given resort certainly doesn't mean it is fully booked.

And something else to remember - it only takes one night to make a code or a resort show as unavailable for the whole trip, and since a lot of January trips span either the tail end of the holiday crowds or the marathon weekend, it is likely to be the case that just a few high occupancy days are resulting in many "not available"s.

good point, but I cant change my dates........everything else is already booked and arranged.

Only to get a CM who now tells me that the code is for FL residents only. When I tried to explain to him that it is a general public code that was released today, he told me that wasn't true. When I said dozens of people on here have been using successfully today, he said, "The thing about message boards is they aren't always true."
What should I do now?

So how long does it take before your ressie shows the change? They said they would send an e-mail confirmation of the change. Just wondering how long I should wait to make sure it went through. (I can be a little paranoid sometimes)

I was wondering the same thing. I haven't received an e-mail confirmation and I called at 7:00 this morning. I am also a little paranoid because I didn't receive a confirmation number over the phone. Did you?
