the fares for TED out of Dulles to MCO. I checked awhile ago and it was $238. When I saw you post I jumped on to United.com and bought four tickets at $148 We are going down for the Marathon and I was worried about splurging on the Poly. Saving ninety dollars a ticket is great! This is the cheapest we have flown anywhere in a long time.

I called today to get a AAA discount applied to my January 5 night Pop reservation. The first CM insisted they weren't out. I insisted they were but she wouldn't budge. I called back. The 2nd CM put me on hold forever and finally came back and said she could open my reservation. The 3rd CM I called couldn't do anything and transfered me to someone else who also couldn't open my reservation but did put me on hold while someone else got the discount applied. I did save nearly $100.

WOW!! Ted was about $198 from Dulles when I looked at it last - which is why we went ahead & booked Jet Blue....but you got a great deal there!

YES, $168 rt. I've been watching the fare and yesterday it seem to drop. We leave Saturday 1/26 and return 2/1 and the price was $168. This is out of Dulles to MCO on TED/United. The best part was that ALL of the times were available for this price. We love the first flight out (8:50AM) and coming home on a later flight (we choose the 5:00PM). Looks like you're flying MLK weekend, maybe that is why the higher amount.

I crunched your dates and the fare is $148 for your trip-round trip....yikes, sorry to tell you that.

LOL...I had to look it up myself to be sure...but for our same flights (Fri. eve. after work / direct and returning mid-day direct on Tues.) the prices were still the same as what we paid! Whew! No savings to us if it's not the right times! Normally for a reg. vac. we'd also leave out first thing in the am - but since DS has school on Fri. we're trying to go down later & only pick him up like an hour early from school so it doesn't count against his attendance. But thanks for the scare! Have fun & congrats on your fare!

CR told my mom there is no AAA discount for our dates - 12/30-1/5 - anyone know if this is true, or should we push the issue?

I would call back and as another CM.
Sometimes you get different answers from different CM's. You also could check into seeing if there is a AAA discount at a different resort that you would be intrested in staying at. There are limited amounts of rooms at each resort that have the AAA discount. You could also check into seeing if a different room view was available with the AAA discount. Not sure where you are staying, but Id call back and ask a few more questions.
