January 2007 Discount Codes (Information on Codes - NOT A CHEERLEADING DEBATE) ;-)

Thats us! I would bokk now if I could, but my DH is so wishy washy! We actaully had an arguement about it last night. He says he will let me know when we can go. He says he's not the kind of person who plans things years in advance like me. I;m not that way either, but I like to do it a month or two ahead of time!
So most likely it will be a Monday whe nhe says on Friday we will leave! We went to Niagra Falls 2 1/2 years ago, and it was the beginning of the week when he said lets go somewhere, and the nwe were going to go to Michigan. The day we were leaving he said, lets go to Niagra falls instead! So we did. It can be fun at times, and frustrating at other times!

I posted this on the other thread accidentally....

Thinking of planning an end of January trip (how bad is MLK weekend? bad enough to wait until the following week?).

Forgive this newbie question, but will the code trump the AAA discount? Would there be any advantage in booking with AAA if you are using a code? I'm assuming you can't piggyback the AAA discount and the code, right?

Thanks!

I didn't know if you saw this on the other thread...

For Jan, AAA and the codes are usually about the same. For Jan 2006, we got about 20% off the rack rate AND Disney offered the free hopper/water park option with the code (same as current Canadian deal), so it was a little better than AAA. And you're right - you can't combine discounts.

As for MLK, touring plans best day chart has the weekend ranked as a 6 crowd level. The rest of the month is mostly 4's and 5's. We went last Jan 28 through Feb 3, and I thought the crowds were pretty low.

An off topic question. Is there a spot to learn what all the abrieviations mean? I can figure some out, but some I have no clue??

Just subscribing. We are planning our second big family adventure to Disneyworld Jan. 19-28, 2007. As a newbie to the forum, I have one tiny question. What do the "I've been boo'ed" mouse ears mean? :sunny:

I looked up the abbreviations because I'm not familar with MLK, it was not on there. Is it for Martin Luther King?

They close at 10 pm, I believe, but I couldn't find online what time they open.

Thanks!
