Does anybody know what is going on January 12th and 13th at all the Universal hotels???? We are trying for the 13th to 16th. Does anyone know when January AP rates come out? We stayed at the Hard Rock in August with the stay 3 nights get the 4th night free and kids eat free, it was awesome. Hoping for another good deal in January.

I've tried to make reservations for January 12 and 13th too. I cannot get those days to come up at Royal Pacific at all. However, if I try to book January 10 to the 14th - no problem. I don't get it. I do have reservations at Portofino Bay for January 12 and 13th (no discount at all yet). Hoping for AAA rates to be available as we get closer.

I did notice that Expedia has January 12 and 13th available.

Isn't that funny. I just went to the loews site and checked the Royal Pacific for January 12 and 13th and it tells me that the hotel is unavailable on the dates I have selected. What you you doing that I'm not doing?

Hi. I'm not sure I'm doing anything funny. I go to loewshotels website click on reservations. It opens a separate page. I choose Royal Pacific. Enter Jan 12 and 13 1 room two adults. And it comes back with waterview for $229 and Club level for $299.

This is making me crazy. I did EXACTLY as you said and it comes back with red letters telling me the property I've chosen is unavailable on my dates. When I called to make my reservations, I was told then that I could not book those two nights. Even the person I was talking to on the phone couldn't really figure it out, because if I want to book four nights, the rooms are available. I just don't get it and it's making me angry

HI. I just went in again and it lets me get all the way to the page where I put in my credit card info. I don't want to go any further and get charged. I wish you were here in Massachusetts and you could come over and do it here. I feel so bad that it won't go thru for you.

I'm at work, so it's not dial up. I tried requesting each night separately. January 12th is available, but, alas, January 13th, comes up unavailable. I just don't get it.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts. I do have reservations at Portofino Bay, which is great. It's just more expensive than RPR. I will keep trying. We have time. Things may change. Hopefully, I will get some kind of discount on the room - at the very least AAA. We have stayed at all three of the Universal hotels, so I'm fine with any of them

I booked a couple of months ago for Jan 12 at HRH. I wanted a garden view room, but was told they were all gone, I had to get a pool view for more $. They told me there was a convention going on that weekend. I recently changed my plans and now going on Jan 15, no problem for a garden view this time.

I don't know if it's a factor, but there is a large eye doctor conference Jan 11-15 at RPR. FWIW, I get "unavailable" on the website too.

Sometimes the rooms will only come up as a "block" of days... it makes absolutely no sense... except that sometimes they block out a certain number of rooms as single nights.. double nights.. must include a friday or sat night stay.. etc... he closer you get to the dates, the rooms usually become more readily available... so... keep on trying!
