We will be there Jan.12-23. Myself and ds (8), my parents and my aunt, uncle and their 2 daughters. It's there first time. I love visiting with first timers you get to experience the amazement with them through new eyes.

Bringing Hubby for his first trip, 23-30 at BC. He's not a Disney fan so this may be quite a trip! I've been there many times so I'll pick things that I think he will like. He will be happy just to wear shorts in January! I took him kicking and screaming on his first cruise and now he's been on four cruises. Hope this works out the same way for WDW!

Just booked our (tweener) trip to arrive on DD Bday (01/21/05) and depart on 01/29/05. We are staying at POR, hoping for the manors this time. Thankfully, the AP rate was still available. We wanted CSR, but nothing available. Worked out fine though, 'cause DD really wanted the Manors anyway.

We are thinking about staying part of our trip in Sept '05 at CSR and, maybe, part at AKL. But, here's the catch...I know my family will never go back to a moderate once they try AKL or WL. So, it worries me a bit to upgrade... Will give this a bit of thought...

So, as of today, we leave in 79 days! Now that is something to be excited about. Really hoping for great weather and LOW crowds! We don't want a weather repeat of Jan '03 - yikes, that was cold even for us Mainers! Brrrrr...

January 2 - 7 at Best Western DTD (changed from Holiday Inn DTD because of hurricane damage and remodel). January 7 - 9 at AKL CL. DH & I and possibly our 17 year old DS. DH & I will be doing the Sunset Safari on Friday the 7th.


Bill from PA - We'll be there around the same time. We're from Catasauqua, PA and will be driving down leaving on New Years Eve. Where are you staying?

Looks like we'll be there Jan 1-5....unfortunately we just decided this and now I've got to find a place to fit all of us. C'est la vie!

edited to add: I just realized I'd already posted on this way back in Oct. This trip has been on and off again so many times I can't keep track.

First 'true' family holiday in ten years - even oldest daughter is flying in from Lanzarote to join us and mother in law is coming too!!! Not to mention me DH and youngest DD!! Staying at Marriott Cypress Harbour jan14 through to 28th. This was meant to be happening in winter 2006 but couldnt last that long for my nedt disney fix - what is so addictive about it?
