I agree, some very cute things. Thanks for the challange at DCL trivia!!! My partners in crime and I kicked butt!!

Thanks to whoever made the minnie ribbon clips for Nelia...those were addorable...she loved them!! We used them once on the cruise but I see them getting alot more use...Did you make them...just wondering if so cause I thought of making some similar but in bone shape for Syd since she loves Pluto..just wanted a few pointers!

We did see some but nothin like you saw in pv. We had a good one though.

Yay for trivia!

It was such a fun cruise and I enjoyed meeting everyone and then running into familiar faces throughout the cruise.

When I got to Disneyland I made up for my lack of shopping on the ship -- a birthday present to myself consisting of a set of Haunted Mansion-inspired jewelry.

Michelle - the Mickey hairclips were me I started making hair clips for my dd when she was about 2 years old because I'd buy her clips and she'd lose them within a day. So, after spending $3-7 dollars on a set of clips, I figured I could make them for a heck of a lot cheeper and then if she lost them, who cares! I found instructions online for ladybugs, bumblebees, butterflies, dragonflies and regular bows. Then, I thought...hmmmm, I bet I could make Mickey Mouse pretty easily and I just figured it out. It's time consuming but they are so dang cute I just couldn't resist giving them to all the little princesses on board.

And since we are talking FE's - who found the scorion and taquilla suckers??! Those were very unique!

We had so much fun we are doing the same route again April 22 with family this time. Donna loved all the gifts and we had a blast at the VIP party. Great to chat with everyone as well. We will also do the 2 day in New York and the 4 day new cruise in Europe. Happy cruising to all. Tim

And since we are talking FE's - who found the scorion and taquilla suckers??! Those were very unique!

That was me! When I was 9, my family moved from Arkansas to a town right on the Mexico border. The kids in school always taunted the new kids with those suckers. It was like an initiation to see if you'd really eat a sucker with a scorpion or a worm in it. I ate them, but then I'd make sure a teacher saw me with them before I got to the actual bug part because I knew they'd take them away. I got to keep my street cred without having to actually eat any bugs. Hotlix makes them and you can order them from Amazon... you know, just in case your kids want to taunt any other kids at school. Or maybe you want to taunt your co-workers. lol

The other initiation was seeing if you could handle eating the saladitos (dried prunes). They are sooooo salty, but after a while you get addicted to them. They used to sell them wedged down in a halfed lemon so they'd be all lemony, salty and chewy. I still crave them on hot days.

We really enjoyed all the FE gifts, too! My kids played forever with the Mickey balloon until they got into a wrestling match with it in between them and it popped. That was pretty hilarious. I'll admit that I stole their caramel chocolate bars and ate those myself.
