! Better start getting my pirate costume together.
Heeeeey! We've just booked for this cruise and I'm SUPER excited!!!
I'm 20, cruising with my parents, sister and her boyfriend. This will be our second Disney cruise (the boyfriend's first.) Last time we did a 4 day in the bahamas and it just wasn't long enough!
I'm going to be graduating from Animation school in San Francisco the week after, and we're also going to squeeze in a couple of days at the parks so it's going to be a very exciting vacation indeed!
Nice to meet you Donathius, you're in for a great time! Hopefully there will be some more DISer's joining us soon!
my oldest son was 20 on the last cruise..he went to the college night events the first night, got the schedule for the rest of the cruise.had a super time..
he loved being an adult on the cruise.. loved the cove , Palo, and the college "kids" were in Rocking Bar D every night ( the wonder name for it escapes me) , won at trivia ...loved the cruise and wants to go with us again..
Wow im glad to hear he had a fun time on the cruise at that age. I am excited about the Quite Cove pool for 18+ that way I wont be overwhelmed by too many swimming children (not that I dont like little kids.. It will just be nice to have that 3rd pool!).
My friend and I booked this cruise and were both 19, on your last cruise were there other late teens/ early 20s? I heard there is a college social night as well, did you happend to go to one of those on your last cruise?
WOW! I just came back from my WDW vacation to see that our group has really grown. I was starting to "Wonder" if we were going to have very many on this cruise. I would be interested in participating in the FE if we are doing one. I will update my info.We are in an inside room but want to try and upgrade at the terminal when we get there. Is there a plan in place for those who change rooms for an accurate room list. Are we doing a meet?
Cruise is all paid forand Palo -dinner, brunch, tea, spa, and shore excursions booked. We have our airfare from Ohio booked and got our Saturday hotel at San Pedro port, through priceline for $65+fees. We are staying at the Crown Plaza. We stayed at the Doubletree last year and decided that, although nice enough, I did not want to pay $180 for an average room. So we will see how it goes. I understand that there are more choices in walking distance to the Crown. Now to arrange transportion.
We are also thinking about doing Cabo on our own. Anyone have any advice? BTW, we did the Whalewatching & Deluxe Coastal Cruise in Cabo last year and it was amazing, we saw whales, rays, dolphines, and sea turtles. Nice big, double deck boat and great crew. We also did the Paradise Beach Adventure in PV and we enjoyed the food, drinks, and beautiful pool/beach.Just seemed like we were not there long enough. I booked Las Caletas Hideaway this time around. My husband wants to go back to the PV hotel that we went to but I want to try something different.

No its not weird for young adults to go to tea. It doesn't cost anything.you just have to get tickets from customer service for it once on the boat.
As for super shuttle,I called and booked a private mini van for 55 each way. QUOTE]
What company did you use for the transfer?

I used Super Shuttle too!!
You're going to have a great time! I was 17 on our last cruise and hung around the teens club mostly, but I'm really looking forward to this one I think it's going to be even better with access to the adult-only areas of the ship. We had a family of 3 that shared a dining table with us last time and the daughter was 18, they did a cruise every year and she definitely enjoyed it! Try to get a booking at Palo and come and say hi at the college meet, trust me there will be plenty for you to do.
Countdown is on, as of tomorrow port adventures and online check in can get started. It looks like the FE group is starting to take shape too!!!
I told DW about FE and she looked at me like I was crazy, I told her it would be fun for the kids and she said that this had nothing to do with the kids it was all for me. I don't know when i got so transparent.
Happy Halloween every one!!
I already did my check in since I could do it at the 90 day mark which was nice. We didn't book any Palo, might just wing it and see if the kids do the club alot or not. I am glad the FE is taking shape. I had 40 + staterooms on my last cruise....10-20 will be nice though just to be able to do it.Countdown is on, as of tomorrow port adventures and online check in can get started. Depends if they only offer it once this cruise or 2 times. I have been on cruises that it was once and others that they offered it twice. I have never had a problem. Knock on wood! Are the tickets or seats or reservations for tea very limited? I have heard some people have not been able to attend as there was no space left for this activity. I told DW about it and she thought it might be fun for her and DD.
I have 11am check in as well. I doubt this will be a real busy cruise unless people start booking cause they are still offering it free kids offer. I have the Crowne too...that I think makes at least 3 of us that snagged that priceline offer.Yay! I stayed up until 1:00 a.m. last night to get checked in. We booked Palo brunch and dinner, as well as a ziplining excursion in PV. We also managed to snag the 11:00 a.m. check-in.
Of course just as I went to bed my 1-year-old started screaming his guts out...
EDIT: Oh and we got a nice deal on a room at the Crowne Plaza for the 14th. If you bid it out on Priceline it turns out the Crowne Plaza is the ONLY hotel in San Pedro you can bid for. We got it for $65+tax.
My friend and I were thinking about doing FE, but I dont really know anything about it! lol.
Well just let me know so I can add you to the list. It's just basically a little gift exchange....I think I typed up in a previous post what it is but you can search on here and you will find threads with ideas on it!!
