DH and I and our DS's (7 & 5) will be going for our 2nd 7-night Western and we can't wait. We've talked some friends of ours into going as well :cool1:
Anyone worried about what the weather and seas will be like in January? Our last DCL was in May and the weather was perfect and the seas were very calm.

we went on the 4 day Wonder cruise this past January and the weather and seas were perfect. January can be iffy, but it should be warm in Cozumel, and Grand Cayman.
I'm also going with a bunch of friends. Plenty of kids in your kid's age group.

:cool1: just bumping this up to the :cool1: front page

I am a little worried about the weather, but January is really the only time we will be able to go in 2006. We thought about going to a resort somewhere in the Caribbean or Mexico, but figured if the weather was cool we would have more options on the cruise. That is also why we chose a 7 night since they go much farther south.

Hello again everyone! :wave2:

Less than 8 months to go! Anyone else joining us for a fabulous 7-night cruise on Jan 14th?

Happy Memorial Day!

We had to cancel our Jan cruise because we are expecting a new bundle of joy in late Feb. We have rescheduled on a Oct 6 Land/Sea since that is what would fit into our schedule before I hit the 24 week mark. I'm very excited because my wait just got a whole lot shorter!!
Happy Cruising in Jan!

Is there room for more???

We're booked on the Jan 14th Magic too! Our second Disney cruise - our first was in March of '05 on the Wonder. The only bad thing about it was it was too short!

Myself, DH, DD5 and DD3 - or she will be by then. Speaking of potty training... mine is refusing right now, too! I'm trying not to worry about it too much now, knowing if it's November and she's not doing it, I'm going to start chanting, "kids clubs" "kids clubs" "kids clubs" as an incentive.

I'm a bit worried about the weather, too - but come on, it'll be better than January in Minnesota, which is typically -20 below zero at that point.

Anyone thinking about clothes yet? Can we get away with Christmas outfits - or should I be thinking more springy? I'm not a clothes horse, but with two princesses, they love to dress up.

Kristin

Thanks! Can't wait to "get to know" you all. My first Disney cruise, I didn't realize these cruise meets boards were here. Now I "wonder" what we missed out on...

Hope you all are staying cool.... :sunny:

We will be there also. We will be traveling with 3 other families, a total of 14. This will be our fourth Disney cruise, 2 on the Magic and 1 on the Wonder previous to this cruise. We can't wait! :jumping1:

Coming out of lurk mode to make my first post!

I just told my travel agenct....book it! :jumping1: :jumping1:

My first cruise, I am SO EXCITED!

I'm traveling alone, but am working on a friend to join me. I think she may be persuaded. ::yes::

Now, must start the paperwork for my passport, start my secret savings plan and start my DIET!!

I'm looking forward to 'knowing' you all and sharing our trip planning advertures....don't worry, I'll be back with lots of questions ::yes:: But now I'm off to find an avatar and fill out my profile.

Hello! It's great to have you along. Hopefully, it will be a fun ride - we have 5 1/2 months to go!

Is anyone planning on the REAS (Romantic Escape at Sea)? And if so, are you paying in full early to book Palo early? Not quite sure how this works, so I'd love some advice.

I've made no decisions regard excursions/packages/spa yet. Hope to be discussing that with everyone over the next few months.

I ('we' hopefully) will be doing a Palo dinner and want to do a brunch also. I plan on just shopping and strolling at Key West. Thinking about the Dolphin swim at Cozumel....may put this on my birthday/Christmas list. And I haven't even taken a look at what there is to do at Grand Cayman. I would like to try snorkeling somewhere. I think I'll view the DCL video one more time. How many 'extras' I do will depend on how good a job I do paying off a couple of bills this summer/fall.

Definitaly want to do any wine/martini tastings, gally tour, cooking demonstrations and the like. I plan on lots of onboard activities, book reading on deck four, and some visits to the deck 7 'secret' verandah (I have a Cat 11 deck 6 aft 'reserved').

OK, must go take care of business......see you all later!

Why not do the Palo High Tea as well! Its awesome.

I've done the dolphin encounter at Cozumel and it is awesome! The "tank" and surroundings are less than glamorous, but the dolphins are truly amazing animal. It was cool ... very cool!

Less than 6 months to go ... i can't wait! :hyper:

Okay Goofymama:

Which did you prefer more? Palo brunch? Palo high tea? Or Palo dinner?

We loved the Palo dinner on our last cruise, but people rave about the brunch. Which are you doing? All of the above? :teeth:
