We are HOPING to pull together enough pennies for one day at Universal for Harry Potter, too...weekend we get back, probably on Sunday.

We also are planning a HP day before the cruise. We've not been there before but looking forward to it!

Third Disney cruise. Travelling are me, my ds 13, my dd 11 and my mom, who would kill me if I told you her age!

You will all love the Harry Potter part of Universal. My granddaughter talked me into reading all the Harry Potter Books and it is a really good copy of what I imagined it would look like. Great area !!

I was hoping to get some opinions on the cut off date to sign up for fish extenders. My thought was December 1. That gives people one month (and a bit) to begin planning for or finalize their gifts. Christmas can be a busy time for people. I was also looking for opinions on the maximum number of staterooms in the group. My thought was 20 staterooms max (we currently have 12 staterooms signed up). If we get more than 20 signed up, we can start a 2nd fish extender group. I think anymore than 20 rooms in a group, families will need to purchase or make too many gifts...which we will then need to pack and carry onto the ship. Thoughts?

This all sounds great for me! I'd like at least a month to get stuff together, and I agree with cutting it off at 20 staterooms. Our last group did that, we ended up having two groups (some people participated in both if they wanted, but it was limited for those who didn't want to purchase for 35 staterooms!!). Getting soooo excited!! We check-in on Sunday!!

sounds good. I'm not sure yet if we will participate this time around, since we are in a big family group already. But it is super fun, the kids enjoy the little treats. I'll let you know if we are in. thanks for organizing!

We're good with 20 and with more than one group as well....

We looked at the one day prices for Universal....ouch!, we still want to see it though.

We were on this itinerary once before, the tram ride up to Paradise point was fun, but it is closed from what I hear. I did the 12 Meter Regatta in St. Maarten, the ladies did one of the tours. They will probably rent a car and just drive to the French side and hangout for the day.

The shopping is the high point in St. Thomas, and now that we supposedly don't have to get up for the customs check at 6:30, we were up to 3:00 the night before, we may actually have time to do something! We basically blew the day by going back to bed and then realized it was past Noon before we woke back up.....
