January 11, 2014 Eastern Cruise

Just realized today that I have MIA here for a long time. As I looked back over all the post it appears to be since we were moved by our work from Florida to Atlanta.

I have kept up with this cruise through both of our Facebook pages but really missed the detail found here at the DisBoards. Looking forward to meeting you all soon. (3PM at the "Wading Pool")

One concern about mini-meet is that I thought that area was for 18yo and above to enter. Will that hinder the kids in the photo?

Its not the adult area, I believe it is near it though.

Wading Pool
Enjoy a splash of refreshment in the wading pool area, located on Deck 12, Forward aboard the Disney Fantasy. With its soothing fountain feature and shaded lounge chairs, this is an ideal spot to relax while the kids play at the nearby AquaLab.

I looked it up on the DCL web site and now know the area. It is small and my only concern is if we have more than a handful of people then not everyone will be seen in the photo. The stage steps are ideal for this.

What a great idea for displaying your pins! I have been looking for some way to see my pins and not have them just in a book.

That sounds great! I haven't received a reply from the family in my previous post, so I'm not sure if they are interested. As it stands, there would only be your family, the family with whom you are traveling and my family, in our teeny last minute FE. Is that ok with you? If so, could you forward the info about the 3rd family(ages and gender)? There is a facebook group for our cruise if you are on facebook and would find it more convenient and secure. Look forward to your reply!

If you post your information on the facebook I may be able to drop off any extra candy we have. Also if we have anything extra since we are buying in bulk i'll make sure and drop it off at your FE.

Hello Everyone!

We hope that everyone had as wonderful a cruise as we did!! The initial rocking was rough on us at first, but we managed to roll with it in time!!

We are so sorry that we missed the meet, we did not get onto the ship, through our concierge info and in our room until after 3:00!

We received some truly awesome and awe inspiring FE gifts and we want to thank you all SO much for them!!

Our trip from home to WDW was thwarted by air travel, and we managed to leave the house with only the magnets and bags for our gifts. We supplemented them with a couple of items from the ship and delivered them on Thursday. We did not have two of the cabin numbers, so we were unable to deliver to "lpst8" and "the Ross Family". We did try, even with the slow connection, to log on to this board and to FaceBook to see if there had been any updates, but we did not see any. We would be happy to ship them to you if you want to PM me with your addresses.

Looking forward to our next cruise in October on the Magic!!

A huge thank you and shout out to John D for all of his help with the graphics!! I still owe you a DOD or two!!!

I hope you got ours, I didn't see a Fe to put it in so I hung it on your fish. Not sure lpst8 ever told anyone their stateroom #, and the Ross family did change rooms.
