I don't think we got a letter yet about the kids clubs - but I did read something here on Dis about it. Don't really know what to think yet... Dexter is going to be (almost) 5 so I don't think he'll be as effected as other kids.

Pirate night is on the Castaway Cay night, so that would be Tuesday (i think). I don't remember what night for formal night.

I'll be making t-shirts before we go. I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO!!! If my mom had her way we would match during the entire trip... so I'm sure that we will all match on the first day.

I have updated the FE list on the first page. We have a very nice size group! If anyone else wants to join just let me know. I think we'll have to have a FE joining cut off date so that we can have time to get our 'gifts' together. What do you think about December 20th? Let me know if you think we should do it sooner or later.
Around that time I'll PM everyone to make sure everyone who signed up is still interested.

I CAN'T WAIT!!! I've been trying to control myself and not look at our reservations on-line everyday to see if we got our room number (nothing yet!)

So - I'm starting to check the DCL web every couple days looking for my room assignment! But I have a feeling it won't show up until the beginning of December.

Still not there! I just a bit surprised that people who cruise AFTER us are reporting that they are being called for 'paid' upgrades. HUMPH!

We are in a cat 12 gty. So we don't know our room assignment until 30-45 days out. We will get a free upgrade to a minimum of a cat 11, because we are a family of four & we don't fit into a cat 12.

I checked the DCL web site and there are 7 category 5 staterooms available and 8 category 6 staterooms. We were bumped up to a category 5 stateroom on our last cruise from a category 8. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The pixie dust can happen. I think now I'm spoiled since we had such a great room the last time.

You GTY status folks should be getting room assignments very soon, though I think the Wonder lags behind the Magic in getting rooms assigned. We got our assignment for our Dec magic cruise at the 42-43 day mark.

I know there are some newbies on this cruise. My favorite reminder for anyone who booked GTY and gets their room assignment, is to be sure to look up the actual category of the room you are assigned. You can find it via the Staterooms link in the blue bar across the top of your screen or in the Passporter book. Your reservation will always show the category that you paid for (Cat 12 for example) but your actual room assignment could be something different. Generally no one gets more than a 3 category upgrade for free (so 12 upgraded to 9 for example). Anything outside of Deck 2 is an upgrade, and generally speaking, even numbered rooms are outside rooms while odd numbered rooms are inside rooms, though there are some exceptions.

I'm dying here.... I can't wait for our room assignment. I just want to know!! Dh really wanted a category 9 to start with, but I just couldn't spend the extra several hundred dollars, so we'll see how things work out for us. Money is tight right now, so I'm just happy to be going.

Favorite characters... I have always loved anything pooh and friends... dh loves monsters inc, Paris loves the princesses and Mater, London loves Tinkerbell and Mater, though she is currently obsessed with Toy Story!!

My daughter loves the Beast then Belle. She's really looking forward to the Princess and the Frog movie coming out in a few weeks.
