Have you seen pictures? There wasn't anything to see as of Thursday evening last week but anticipating first updates should be revealed anytime as everything is supposed to be complete sometime in October.

I see the walls you mean in the AllEars post linked above.Pictures were posted on another Disney website that I am unsure of being able to mention here.
The mural and where the shadow boxes were is nice and ties into the food court well. It is the actual reception/guest relations counter that is stark and minimalist that I am unsure of. It is lacking.

Personally I will be shocked if they stay are bare as they are. Possibly need the other half renovated too before adding additional decorations?
Time will tell.
Yes! I was in that area back in April and loved it! My room was 212 steps (per my apple watch) from the skyliner. Bonus was the rabbit who came to eat in the grassy area outside my door every evening. One day he brought his wife and his duck friend. Here now in the best room I’ve had yet. Bldg 4 as close to Skyliner as you can get. Rain chances were high for this week but happy to say so far so good…went to AH at HS last night. It was great with low waits for rides. TSM was pretty much walk on for us. Not sure what was happening with Slinky Dog it wasn’t running when we went by.
Curtains have been pulled tight but I will go over tomorrow and try to get a closer look.Hoping you will see some of the Classic Hall renovations while you're there. I was able to see that there appear to be circles/polka dots of some sort on the walls that formerly(?) held the shadow boxes. The curtains were pulled tight but once when I walked by and the light hit just the right way, that's what I could imagine was behind the curtains. Time will tell. Wall seemed to be dark (blue?) with brighter circles in what I'm imagining to be the other colours (green, maybe orange, white) that are part of the renovations.
So it looks like the 1950s and 1960s "wall wraps" have been uncovered. Here now and was told by CM at front desk that the Shadow Boxes that hung on lobby wall are definitely not coming back. Most of the lobby wall is still covered by the black curtain but 2 sections have been revealed. The colors of the murals are bright and well done…
Agreed! The shadow boxes were way better. How sad…
