Which month would be better to visit WDW factoring size of crowds only?

In other words if you wanted to go when the crowds are least which month wins? Of course I should add that when I say Jan. I mean to not include New Years day and the first few days afterward.

I actually asked a CM that question a couple of weeks ago. After I found out that he had worked there for many years, I asked what the slowest months of the year are. He told us September is typically the slowest, followed by January. Don't know if it's true or not, but made sense to me from what I've seen.

Hi,

I was in WDW this year in both the last weeks of Jan. and Sept.

Jan. was much better in my opinion. The weather in Sept is still hot at 90 degrees. Jan is wonderful weather ... or at least you have a much better chance at getting more comfortable park weather.

We go both in Jan. and Sept. most years and with the exception of this year they've pretty much been the same crowd-wise. This year seemed a little more crowded in Sept. (probably because of the free dining). I really enjoy both times! I think as long as you avoid the holidays during those months crowds will be low.
