1926 - Screen legend Paul Newman, voice of Doc Hudson in the recent Disney/Pixar release "Cars" is born.

It is the Main Street Motors building.

Imagineers got their inspiration for this "store" from the Neiman Marcus Catalogue, (see the online version here http://www.neimanmarcus.com/), which is full of the most exotic and expensive items imaginable. So the Imagineers thought why not sell mad and extravagent things at the park, like real antique cars, thus when the park opened there were for sale - 3 cars in the shop, there is only 1 remaining today, I don't know whether the other 2 actually sold, the Sketch to Reality book doesn't say!

The clock is one of 6 manufactured for the park by a company here in the UK called Smith of Derby, the others were:
