I have never rented points nor do I know much about it. I am going to Disney Jan 7-14th currently staying at Pop Century in 2 rooms. I was wondering if it was cheaper to rent points. It would be me/dh dd5, dd1 and an adult friend. Friend has some special dietary issues so cooking some meals at "home" would help. Any thoughts?

You could probably get away with a 1 bedroom Villa. Although it is listed as sleeping 4 adults, your 1 YO wouldn't take up too much room and the kitchen looks like something you could use. The Old Key West Resort offers the largest rooms and is the least costly of all of the DVC Resorts. I have points available for January anbd I am sure there is availability.
