Hi, all! Kathy PM'd me to let me know this thread is moving (thank you) so here I am. We're doing 4 days at WDW and then the cruise with DH's parents, sister, her husband and their three girls. Family fun whether we want it or not, right?
Occupation- DH does something with computers. One time I asked him to really explain his job and instantly regretted it. BORING! I'm a stay at home mom to Ben who is almost 7 months old.
Favorite Disney movie- Toy Story, for sure.
Hobby- I love to shop and back when I had free time, I read a lot.
Well, Ben is up from his nap. Time for baby duty!

Gee whiz, I just read your PM and then here you were. AWESOME

This is so great almost everyone has started posting again, just a couple more and we are all set.

I'll be back later and hope to see a few pictures posted.

I have a ridiculously stupid question- what is included in the cruise documents? My father in law booked everything and I emailed him this morning to see if he received them. He said he thought we just checked in online and that was it, even though he borrowed my Disney guide for eight days and everything in there said we should get tags for our luggage.
And WTH is a fish extender????

He said he thought we just checked in online and that was it, even though he borrowed my Disney guide for eight days and everything in there said we should get tags for our luggage.
And WTH is a fish extender????

they have your important papers to fill out for check in, luggage tags, and the bahamas form you have to fill out for each person and a small advertisement.

If you dont get them, just check in on line but there are still 2 pages you must print off and sign, they are the only pages you will see that need to be signed, bring them to check in with you and when you drop off your luggage at the port ask the porters for luggage tags and write yourname and room number on it, then when you go inside to check in there are tables wher eyou stop first to ge tyour papers checked to make sure they are filled out correctly, they will have extra bahamas forms,ask for them, fill them out and then they will tell you to go check in.
so you can check in without getting your documents but it is filled with important papers .

Nothing yet, but we used a TA...never again! Anyhow, if you are in Canada and got them, I should have mine at AAA soon, I would think.

I am bringing my fish extender

Ok it really has nothing to do with fish but that is what it is called. By each cabin door there is a small silver fish to clip notes to if you want to leave someone a message.
a fish extender is a decorative piece of cloth with pockets that usually has a dowel at the top and a ribbon tied to each end of the dowel to hang the ribbon over the fish on the wall.
Other people on the dis board (this thread) come along and leave you little goodies and treat in it during the cruise as a surprize. It is fun to do.

In November some people just hung a large Christmas stocking over the fish, others took a decorative gift bag and hooked the handles over the fish, some used plastic bags that was from WDW that had their souvenirs in, just something so others can out something in it during the cruise.

BIG TIP!! Post your room number here so people can write it down so they can find you to put your goodies in your bag. without a room number nobody will be able to find you.

I glued mine together,
not fancy but it works:
It is laying on my coffee table waiting for the glue to dry so the white you see around the edges is a paper towel to protect my table from the fabric glue.

Please everyone post your room number and at least hang a baggie out there so I can put something in it for you I promise it wont blow up

Oh my, learn photobucket tonight and find a good photo.

Think I will try that tomorrow! I am usually pretty easy to spot, I have red hair (when I was little my cousin said, why do they call your orange hair red?)and a daugther with very blond long hair.

I would love to participate in the fish extender drop offs. Our room is #2611.

I have been up since 3 a.m. when I heard Pixie getting ill in her carrier
By the time I finished cleaning up everything I was wide awake and couldnt go back to sleep

Now I am sitting reclined back with one dog on the foot rest sleeping with my legs strattled aroundhere and the other one curled up next to me so I cant move. At least I am nice and warm with 2 fur coats snuggled up to me.


2 weeks from today we will be at Nassau

Poor puppies! The only pets we have right now are nintendogs for the ds and pet pals for the leapster So we don't have to worry about that. I am off today to pick up something to make a fish extender of some sort, glitter hairspray for DD ( we are skipping BBB this trip to the world and I will do her up) and some misc trip supplies. I am only off today and Monday before the trip with only one child, so I have to get a lot done! Well...I am next Friday, too....but....DD and I are getting manicures and pedicures, so I won't get much accomplished!

Howdy all,

now I have 2 doggies not acting like themselves. both have slept most of the day but they are sleeping on me so I cant get anything done.

I did get one to eat a half a cup of dry cheerios and the other ate a few top ramen noodles. They wouldnt touch their food and I wanted them to have some food in their tummies.
