Yeah sometimes it hard to read into what people are syaing or meaning when it is just words........

Which is why i tried to choose my words wisley.

When i lived up north my favorite Holiday was 4th of July becasue i could not stand anything from OCT to late Apil.

Now i really love Halloween. Love to dress up and give out candy!

My Oldest DS favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.....
And this year we will be up north for the Holiday.....And wow it is coming soon.
But since we never see our family we are going to "DO CHRISTMAS" that week too.

HAVE A GOOD NIGHT ALL, i am getting ready to fall asleep on the couch.

We are in Ontario so I guess they call that Eastern Time...it's 8pm right now.

Hope all the Canadians have a great Thanksgiving this weekend.
We are going to be in Key West for the American Thanksgiving this year. My first time celebrating with them. Hope it lives up to it's name! Wonder if they have Black Friday in Key West...would love to hit some of those great sales!!

We are on Eastern - 8:30pm here.

And saw the scavenger hunt thread. Yeah I don't know what that guy's problem is. You answered perfectly! It is a DISNEY cruise....and s/he doesn't want children hanging around? Does s/he expect all kids just to sit there?! Hahaha!!!

For all those doing to 5k, any activity is a start! Celebrate your accomplishments, no matter how small you think they are! I haven't been feeling well but did some yoga today hoping it will help.

No reading wrong Melissa, in Canada we celebrate Thanksgiving on the second Monday of October so its turkey and pumpkin pie weekend here!!! Im having my family all over on Saturday night cause we have a wedding on Sunday and then my mom goes home Monday afternoon(3 hours away) so i guess i beter get to the grocery store tomoro

Chrisse sounds like your parents have a great daughter My brother lives in Grande Prairie so he makes the drive to Edmonton quite often to, but usually for hockey and shopping since most our family is here in Manitoba. You have all peaked my interest on whats going on in the Scavenger hunt thread so am going to go search that out while i wait for Mentalist to start.

We live almost exactly half way between Grande Prairie and Edmonton! Ask your brother if he remembers a very small town called Fox Creek! We have 2500 people on a busy day....lol. 1 school, 1 grocerie store, and thats about it...lol.

Just don't know what stores in Key West will actually have sales. I think the only big store they have is KMART..no Walmart, or Target or any thing like that...I guess I will just have to wait and see what there is. I'm a great bargain hunter so if there's a sale I'm sure to seek it out!! LOL

I changed a cruise one time becasue people on our cruise thread were stirring the big black cauldron of nastiness!!!!!!

I remember one thread on Cruise Critic that was titled: How to avoid kids on Disney Cruise. I mean really? Are they serious??
Plain and simple...if you don't want to be around kids, don't take a Disney cruise! IMO

And of course clean the house. Dinner at MIL's on Sunday and hopefully my oldest will be home for turkey on Monday! I love Thanksgiving!

5K run: Ok, I have been SO busy with kids, work, life, I just haven't had much time to work on my program. I did however walk for 20 mins the other night and plan to walk another 30 mins tonight! I know, slow start but you have to start someplace.

Re: Topless bar: My doctor(and friend) said he would lend us all latex gloves if we decide to go....lol

Have a spectacular weekend! This is the first one since June I do not have to travel any farther than the store 2 minutes away!!!

So true, we are the same way, any quality time we can get in as a family we do, I am always planning a trip to somewhere or a weekend away. My house may go to heck, but it's the experiences that count to me.

I know how hard the anniversaries can be, so thinking of you this month. Our daughter was stillborn 9 years ago in September. Some anniversaries have been so hard, others the build up was more difficult than the actual day. I already am dreading the 10 yr mark next September, especially as it was all the same week as 9/11 and there will be SO much 10th anniversary talk going on coming up on that.

We're way west, almost in Ohio, near Pittsburgh. Are you guys flying down?

Seriously! I finally got back to the scavenger hunt thread and read the 1 guys posts. I think he needs to do another cruise line altogether! And if he stays with Disney... Well, I have sent the hunt out to maybe 20 people so far!

My Oldest Ds works at the Pitt airport and lives over the boarder in WV.

He has been at that airport for about 2 years now i guess.

He graduated from WVU and went to work there not to long after.

It was 8 when i posted, i am a early to bed early to rise....NOT BY CHOICE!!!
I am just getting used to getting up early and been doing it for like 6 years.

But i get up usually at 2:40am......If i ever get to sleep for 8 hours in a night it ls like me getting 2 nights of sleep in one!
But here lately i find my self falling asleep on the couch earlier and earlier.
I guess I am getting older!!!!
