MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

I hope everyone has safe and happy hollidays!

Just think, one monh from today we will be checking out Key West! I am not sure if I have grasped how close it acctually is getting. It has been an insane few weeks and I am so beyond tired.

The presents are all wrapped and under the tree, the groceries are all bought, baking is either bought or made(I haven't had alot of time to bake this year). I am officially ready for Christmas! I even have a suprise for the little ones.... their big brother is coming home for Christmas!!! I knew he and his GF were coming for new years but this will be a great treat for the kids. They sure do miss him.

This time next month I'm not sure what I'll be doing. Still not sure what to expect with our first Disney cruise...but I do know that it's just going to be fantastic!

Question for y'all cruise experts: Is it OK if I just bring 1 suit onboard, for both semi-formal and formal? I thought I could dress it up or down with the type/color of shirt and tie.

We just got our cruise docs today! Doing the happy dance!!!!

MAJOR ISSUE WITH OUR CRUISE DOCS....which i will be calling DCL about Monday....WE received cruise docs that only had for me and my DD

No proof needed at check in. "Why yes, sir, here's my proof of being friends with Joe so-and-so who works for Carlson Hotels in St. Louis." Code is CARLSONF - good luck!

But a scroll through the cabana rental thread has me pretty much convinced. Anyone else? We are three, I think the max is 6 (or 8?)...

Pretty sure we want to do this too.....BUT you have to wait til you get on the shp to get one, or be concierge level. I think it will be pretty cool, we are still waiting to see if the suites go down any more$$$$ too.

So for anyone staying at CI&S, what time are you planning to arrive? We are planning on getting there around 3:30ish so the kids can play in the pool and the DH can have a nap. Then we'll be doing dinner at FishLips...

What are your plans??

WE will def be there by like 6 Friday and plan to do dinner at FISHLIPS
Wih we could get there earlier but i think i will have to wrok an open on Friday which puts me off at 1:30 home by 2 I will have everything ready and in the van and kids to be ready to walk out the door i will shower and be ready to pull out of the drive way by 2:30 arrive at hotel by.....5:15ish

We could make reervations for any one who wants to go to FISHLIPS for a pre cruise meet.....if that is of interest to any one.....i know some people lilke to just do family and that is cool and understandable, i skipped several events on our cruises each time becasue we just want to do family things.

But we woulkd be up for a pre meet at FISHLIPS if any one else is in.

Just to surprise my friends, I bought the Bon voyage package, with a sparkling wine and some petit fours and chocolate-dipped strawberries.

I chose the Martini Asti sparkling wine, which is actually my favorite one anyway, it's sweet and delicious and all that counts is the *POP*, right?

Did you buy some gifts as well?

THAT IS SOOOOOO TRUE.

I think i am actually goign to do another splurge for this cruise and get like 4 of the packages.
My DH was sooooooooooo sweet on our last cruise, which he did not go on it was just girls and sent us 2 packages one was the package you are speaking of and one was like chocolate and fruit....

I will be getting both of those plus the birthday one and there was another one i saw i wanted cant remeber what it was now.

I have a drawer full of things i have collected over the past year and half for FE...

Becasue we ended up canceling a cruise becasue the loss of a job then i started collecting again for the all girls cruise, and noone did them and now this one, soooooo I HAVE ALOT FO THINGS

I just need to come up with something clever to hold the items.

Is there a way to have it emailed to me? Or, could someone on the Facebook page send to me that way!

I'm not sure what time we'll be getting there. We are leaving at 2:30 a.m. or so, so I'm hoping we are there by dinner time. I'm not so sure we'll be up to going out so we'll have to play it by ear.

I've been having internet problems, so I'm on my mom's computer now. Hopefully we get it fixed soon so I can keep up with everything!

The kids were very surprised this morning and can't wait for the cruise! I can't believe that it won't be long now before the Christmas stuff gets put away and the cruise stuff gets pulled out! We were supposed to travel down to Myrtle Beach tomorrow to visit my MIL, but it looks like that is off since they are calling for 6-10 inches of snow.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Wow, the board has been quiet the past couple of days and I've been able to catch up.

Looks like we are in for Nachi Cocom in Cozumel! We planned to do a beach day at 7 Mile Beach in Grand Cayman since the last time we cruised this itinerary with RCL, we just shopped in GC and everyone raved about the beach at dinner. We did a beach thing in Cozumel but it was through RCL and not what we thought. After much research, we can't find anything in Grand Cayman that is a beach club like Nachi Cocom. It is all public beaches and I have a feeling we'll be haggled the whole time. Since it is a tender port we may just stay on the boat. Would love to join the taxi group to Nachi Cocom, as long as they respond that they have room for us.

So I started accumulating some things in our suitcases for the trip....I'm up to a full suitcase and it's just misc stuff!!! Uh oh!!! No clothes, no FE's, no toiletries, no diapers, no sand/water toys, etc! I am grateful because DH gets our airline bags for free BUT boy am I going to hear it from him carting it through the airport.

I hope EVERYONE had an awesome Christmas!! Ours was great with the exception that my computer succumbed to a virus and died on Christmas Eve. NOT happy.... I had planned on finishing my TR and needless to say did not. This coming weekend for sure! Should have my laptop re-imaged and back in business by tomorrow...

I feel like I can FINALLY focus on vacay with Christmas past us! Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With Christmas over and finally being back home I can work on getting the hosue and suitcases organized! FE's have been finished up for quite some time now and take up a whole suit case on their own!

Not sure if I can make shopping in Cozumel if you are going at 3:30ish. I guess it depends on how long you plan to go for. I have a couples massage with DH @ 5:45 that afternoon.

Getting closer! I leave back to the city in 3 weeks!!! (Even though I just got back an hour ago...lol)

I realized after looking at the calendar at work that I had asked of for the friday before the cruise so we will be arriving in town around 2:30-3.
