OMG!......thanks MCazer for letting us know they has posted our pictures on the Doubloon website.....too funny! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

And if anyone wonders if we had fun on that excursion....the answer would most definitely be YES!!! :hyper:

Here's one of my favorites.....Billy with the girls (Cadburysmom, MCazer and Mickeyfanmom)

We got a postcard today too. Not from Disney, but one I mailed from Coral World on St. Thomas. I wrote "having a wonderful time. Wish we were here." When it came today, we were certainly wishing we were there.

::yes:: me too....:(

I hope that they take you up on the suggestions...

I don't really want a casino either, though, they got enough of my money without one!!!

We would LOVE some new itineraries since we now have been everywhere they go (except for the Panama Canal and that's all sold out) and would love some new ports.

I also second the idea of new photo packages that include the formal pics. I'm also with you on formal pics in 6x8- I don't have room to put a bunch of 8x10's all over our house!

Again- it was SO great seeing all of you. Thanks for also posting our Doubloon shots- what a GREAT time!

Pirate reunion next year, maybe?! Maybe Laura's husband will bring her next time now that she sees what fun we had!! :teeth:

I think 5x7 photos would be nice. Too hard to find 10-20 5x8 frames for all the cute photos you just can't say no to.

HI All
Just thought I would check in and see how everyone is?
I know so many of us got sick during/after the cruise.
I was hoping everyone(&their familys) are feeling much better.
sending eveyone pixie dust for health and happiness and wonderful dreams

Love all the photos you all have posted!!!

Wow,
How much rum punch DID WE REALLY DRINK??? :teeth: :earboy2:  :crazy2: I only had about 8, but that was just to get the salt water taste out of my mouth. :confused3 I'm glad that there were pics of some of the other "Dads" with (as DW Laura put it) that bikini-clad woman.

To all of the fun, party loving dis-ers, don't miss the Dubloon. Bring some cash for the "high quality tee shirts!

Mike

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the warmer weather. What a wonderful cruise we all had and many are looking forward to the next one. Just wanted to say hi if anyone is still out there. :wave2:

Yes- we had an awesome time and Yes- we are still out here and Yes- we drank a TON of rum punch on the Doubloon! (Don't worry Mike, my DH is on the home page of the Doubloon crew with that bikini-clad pirate!)

It was an awesome time- can't wait to do it again!

I'm still here too....so good to hear from you and hope you're having a good summer....and yep, Mike, I've got to admit I had one too many too...come to think of it, I could REALLY use a Banana Bender about now...anyone care to join me?

Those Doubloon pics are too funny...my son still teases me about how silly we all were...and a special congrats to mickeyfanmom's hubby for making the Doubloon Homepage...so glad to know we had a celebrity in our midst! ;) :p

Actually thought of all of you yesterday when I called DCL to change the date of our next Disney cruise from next Jan to Feb 18, 2006...sure hope some of you will be able to join us::yes::...can't imagine it being as fun without my favorite cruising buddies! :teeth:

Banana benders and painkillers Mmmmmm- sounds good right now! That was such an awesome time! :cool1:

Cadburysmom- I may have to try to talk DH to sailing again in Feb. although he wants to try a warmer month next time, I thought that the weather was great! We had such a great cruise and it was so fun meeting many of my DIS buddies! :cheer2:

We keep listening to the compilation CD that my husband made of many of the cruise songs and dreaming of our next trip.................. :sunny:

Thanks, Mickyminder, for bringing back all of the great memories by renewing this thread! :teeth:

I'm still here too! LOL

We had so much fun and thinking of doing the Doubloon on our Royal Caribbean cruise this November. It is getting closer and closer.

We already have a large group (12 cabins of family and friends going), but the more the merrier.

We are sailing on the MARINER OF THE SEAS on the November 27, 2005 sailing out of Port Canaveral and going to Disney 2 days before! WOO HOO.

This will be my childrens first "non-Disney" cruise, (they have been on 3 Disney Magic cruises already). Wish I could say the same at their ages.

Anyone want to come along on our "non-Disney" cruise? They have an ice-skating rink, a rock climbing wall, inline skating, and lots more!

We also have a cruise booked on the Freedom of the Seas (first sailing next May) for November 26, 2006. This ship has a water park for the kids!

Anyway, it is nice reading that our extended cruise family is doing fine.

Also, I was so lit from those rum drinks on the Doubloon that it took hours for the buzz to wear off. Its been a very long time since I got that buzzed! LOL

I wonder what my makeup looked like at dinner? LOL

MCazer - WOWSA! :earseek: I'm so jealous of ALL your upcoming vacations!

And you say Freedom of the Seas actually contains a waterpark? I'm gonna need to check this out....My son will turn 12 next April 19 (I believe you have one with the same birthday too ;) ) and I'm afraid he'll soon outgrow Disney and we'll need to look into RCCL too. Can't wait to hear what you and your kids think! pirate:

BTW, I'll be taking the Caribbean Princess cruise with some college buddies in a few weeks...no kids or hubbies...just a fun girl's trip...can't wait!

It feels like I have had these reservations forever, and they are finally getting closer!

Here is a link to some drawings of what the ship will have.

Here are some direct links to larger images of the drawings of the FREEDOM. It will be the largest cruise ship in the world once it is built!

Wow! How exciting to hear from you all! I have looked at my Shutters pics and the digital cameral pics we loaded to our computer many, many times since the cruise. I love looking at them. All the memories from that trip just flood right back. I have failed to start a scrapbook, but am planning to work on it later this month when I attend a mini-crop. I loving scrapping our Disney trips as it helps the time go by faster

We are going to WDW in October (a short trip, staying in a Fort Wilderness cabin) and then have a Magic cruise lined up for January (Eastern, same week as our cruise in '05). This will be our third Eastern. . . . I am hoping this time we don't tender as we have the previous two trips. We also have a booking for 12/06 which we will move to 1/07 once those dates are available, with a WDW trip in October '06 as well.

So. . . . .we are still stuck on DCL. However, I subscribe to Cruise Travel and read all about the offerings of other lines. I am eager to hear how MCazer likes the RCCL ship! We saw it while in St. Thomas. Although, I don't think you could ever get me on that rock climing wall. LOL. :confused3

Oooh it's so good to hear from all of you! :flower:

I can totally sympathize with you MCazer - after getting off the Doubloon we went and bought so much booze in St. Thomas that we didn't know how we were going to get it all home! Then with the pirate night later...... good thing that I have lots of pictures to remember it all by! LOL! :rotfl:

I am totally going to check into the Freedom. (I can't talk DH into sailing again in November- this year we have taken more trips than ever before in our lives!) Are you going only over the Thanksgiving break, or are you taking some extra days?

PiperG- we are also going to WDW in October for MNSSHP- but plan on only staying at the Wildnerness lodge for one night. It's tough to be stuck on DCL- but I guess someone has to do it! :teeth:

Cadburysmom- I am SO jealous of your girls' trip! That is going to be awesome! Have you cruised with them before, or will this be the first time? (I bet you planned it all, didn't you?)

Y'all are making me want to cruise soon again SO bad! :goodvibes It's really great hearing from everyone on the 1/22 sailing! :grouphug:

It is the weekend after Thanksgiving, and I believe it sails on a Sunday. So we will go down on the Friday before (day after Thanksgiving) and spend a couple of days in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area, then we will fly home after the cruise (so the kids are not out of school too long).

It would be great if you could come too! Rum punch for everyone!
pirate: ARGGHHH!
